This 'Star Blazers Mod' is the retelling of the complete story "Star Blazers:The Quest for Iscandar" which generated over three TV shows (yes, japanimation), various movies, comic books, toy scale models, and has thousands of fans all over the world. If you are a Star Blazers fan, you will not be dissapointed; this mod will prove to be very faithfull to the story.
This Mod was dessigned forthe game: 'Space Empires: StarFury' (not a well known game) which is a space action RPG set in the 'Space Empires' Universe (a well known space strategy game!).
The story goes like this:
"In the year 2199, Earth was under severe attack from the mysterious planet Gamilon. Gamilon planet bombs covered the Earth with radioactive pollution, and as a result, in one-year time, Earth will be unlivable. But on the planet Iscandar there is a machine that can remove the deadly radioactivity. Queen Starsha offers it to the people of Earth. A team of star blazers called the 'Star Force' undertakes the perilous journey, but can the Star Force travels 148,000 light years and back in just one Earth year? The cosmic space between Earth and Iscandar is under control of the evil Gamilons, who are ruled by leader 'Desslok'!"
You will be able to control the Earth ships including the Argo/Yamato, launch the Black Tiger Fighter Squadron, and even fire the devastating Wave Motion Cannon! You will be facing the cunning Gamilons who want to stop you. This is a 3d space action game were you can command a single capital space ship. You can configure most of the items in the ship like weapons, armor, etc. All the action of the game will be in space, but there will be sections of story telling, with a lot of colorful images, that will point you on the right direction as the story develops.

The whole story of ''Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar' is divided into two campaigns.
You need to get:
1. Campaign 1 - Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar
2. Campaign 2 - Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar
3. Star Blazers Music
How you proceed and install the StarBlazers Mod, preliminary requirements:
1. Install the original game (assuming that the original game is not installed yet).
2. Install the patch - The latest as of today is version 1.17. (Patch also includes a PDF manual)
3. You are all set. Do not forget to set the screen to 1024x768 resolution or the game will not work. This is right there on the "Starfury" readme file.
4. Play the game; have fun. When you finish playing the 3 campaigns of the original game (is up to you), you can just jump into the StarBlazers Mod.
Now to install the Starblazers Mod:
1. Open the Starblazer Mod folder, you will find 3 folders called:
a. Campaign 1 - The Quest for Iscandar
b. Campaign 2 - The Quest for Iscandar
c. Music
2. Open the Starfury original game folder where you installed the original game on your hard drive. There you will find a folder called "Campaigns". With the mouse drag (copy) the "Campaign 1 - The Quest for Iscandar" and "Campaign 2 - The Quest for Iscandar" and placed inside this "Campaigns" folder.
3. For the folder named "Music" you are going to take the content of the folders (10 songs) and place them inside the music folder of the original game.
Windows will ask you if you want to over write at least one of the files, say YES!
Example: "Music" - copy the contents (select all and drag with the mouse) inside the "Music" folder of the original game.
Now the testing:
1. Select new game - When selecting Campaign, now you will see "Campaign 1 - The Quest for Iscandar", "Campaign 2 - The Quest for Iscandar" in addition to the 3 original campaigns that came with the original game. Select "Campaign 1 - The Quest for Iscandar" , press ok.
Note, at the end of "Campaign 1 - The Quest for Iscandar" the game will ask you automatically if you want to continue with "Campaign 2 - The Quest for Iscandar". You can play the 2 campaigns independently, but if you want to follow the story as intended, do the first one then the second one.
