Like the SGM custom stashes? If yes, nice! I really liked that addition :)

On a SGM related note, I also liked the fact you could use broken weapons for spare parts, will you do something along those lines? I always hated the fact I had all those unwanted broken guns in my stashes because repairing them and selling them would mean loss of my valuable Roubles.

Not really played SGM, can you explain what you mean?

We'll have a system for using damaged weapons, yeah :)

They've implanted "stashes" near the technicians where you can store your weapons and after a fixed time it will convert them into spare parts. A total of 95 spare parts will make the upgrades by 50% cheaper :) And not every weapons gives "1" spare part, it's randomized, based upon condition. A really, really bad pile of trash (14 broken ak's) will usually result in 1 or 2 spare parts, while a full condition F2000 can result in 8 or more.

Nice script and thought tbh. Really like it that you never have to worry about all those weapons anymore!

Oh, when you reached a certain level in the game (novice, experienced, veteran, legendary) you'd get loot according to that level, so from a BM16 on novice you went to a Automatic SPAS12 w/ upgrades and custom properties on Legendary ;)

I see. No it's nothing like that, this is much more like SoC-style stashes but far better.

Can't wait :)

BTW, are you interested in high quality UI-elements? I was bored and increased the quality of all UI elements by hand, if you'd like to have the package, send me a PM and ill PM you a link so you can compare em and maybe even include them!

Cheers!

So, can you still find the caches if you don't have the location(from a dead NPC)?

Yep, like I said in the description, you can find them even if you don't get the location :)

Finally! The return of caches from SoC that CS and CoP removed for some stupid reason, thank you SO much for this, I mean it. ^^

CS didn't remove the cache system, it wasn't very different from SoC's really, just a little more buggy.

Yeah, this is sort of a mix between SoC and CS's system. Like SoC in that you find their locations on NPCs and they have names/descriptions, and like CS's in that you can still find them and loot them even if you don't have their location.

This is nice and not just a cosmetic update to the game.
This is the type of modding that adds replayability value.
Keep it up

Thanks mate, that's what we're aiming for. Lots of solid systems that enhance the game ;)

I always liked to read the story of the stash, sometimes a father saving up for his sick son treatment sometimes a rookie dying in a anomaly or a bandit hiding things he stolen it adds immersion to the game.

Description

In v2.0, we'll be introducing 'Redux Caches'. When searching dead NPCs, you have a chance to discover the location of one of these caches (a system I'm sure you're familiar with). Which caches are found is dependant on the level you're on, the rank of the NPC you kill, their faction, and a random element. Caches will contain interesting, useful or rare loot and will often tell a small story/be part of something larger. You can find caches on your own without knowing their location beforehand. Exploration is important!
