Return to the Zone in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Wormwood, a high-difficulty survival-oriented realism modification for GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat. Wormwood builds upon the core Stalker experience, enriching the latest in the cult game series with brand new survival mechanics, intense and realistic gunplay, new missions, levels, fleshed-out building interiors and much, much more.
It's been a while since our last upload, but here's a taste of one of the (very comprehensive) new interiors coming in Wormwood - the Jupiter Plant Workshops.
Look out for another, more revealing screenshot of the interiors tomorrow!
The Workshop building at the rear of the plant complex previously had a total of three interior rooms - you may remember finding some Underpass documents in the storage rooms on the second floor.
The building now has twelve rooms, varying from electrical workshops to their ancillary office space, as well as more storage!
Additionally, the Underpass documents have moved, and you may need to confront an angry resident to obtain them...
Angry resident ? pseudogiant , burer ,controller or chimera?
You'll have to wait and see.... ;)
surprise i understand and that surprise make me more curious about this mod and i can t wait for the mod to appear
I watched one of your streamed sdk vid's last week and your doing some great stuff, In Jupiter it would be good if there was an underground tunnel system (with workshops etc maybe) joining some of the plant buildings together. I don't know if you ever played the Spectrum mod but they did an extensive rebuild of the Bar map and had a Tunnel system joining the Bar, Arena and Duty base, Something along those lines would suit the plant area given it's history.
somehow good idea but idk if they will accept
Tunnels under Jupiter plant are definitely something we've got planned, but we're focusing on existing geometry first.
It's really great to see such talented people with the RIGHT IDEAS working on a mod like Wormwood. This is going to be an epic mod! :)
Speaking of angry zone residents. I hope "may" will be a keyword about these. Most mods (even the best) do the mistake of overpopulating the zone. And it doesn't even make it feel more Alive (lol) because everything seems to be much more interested in the player barely appearing in their field of view than the freedom emptying assault rifle mags in them.
yaay ^_^ i can't wait
I'm so glad you're extending the interiors in CoP. That was something I thought was severely lacking in the vanilla game, and the places that WERE explorable hardly had anything interesting to see or obtain.
I am guessing a Controller. Awesome work, expected nothing less from you guys
I'm sorry for not remembering but do you guys work only with CoP maps or do plan in adding and expanding maps from the other series?
Two new maps, and expanded existing maps.
