Got a suggestion for a feature, or a request, for Redux version 2.0?

Why not post it here!

I'll repost what I put on the main page here:

...which I had been looking for for a very long time. I have only seen Complete and PGR with this mod so far, it makes so your player model matches the suit and helmet you are wearing. I'd love to see something like this in Redux, with the extra suits you guys plan (?) on adding.

I'd totally help you out if I could, but I don't have 3dsmax or anything like that, so the only thing I'd be good for is ideas and maybe some script merging. Sorry :/

It looks like redux 1.0 uses atmosfear 2 apparently? I assume redux 2.0 will be using the latest atmosfear instead? I assume that if I try to past atmosfear 3 over redux 1.0 it will just bust the whole thing. ;)

Hi. Do you use a source code in your mod?

We're not using altered source code yet, but we would like to.

Beacon,

What would it hurt to allow rookie players to choose cross hairs, to return the
original or comparable stashes to where they were, to be able to choose to loot
and have repaired the armor of the fallen? Maybe have to collect two or three
suits to have enough repairable parts for a good and affordable to repair suit
and /or exo skeleton.
Looks like you have created a great wide world that invites exploration,
adventure, a chance to use weapons, loot good weapons and earn ammo and supplies.
The good chance to find and loot decent stashes is an incentive to explore, but
please do not make the stashes cheap, chintzy and ridiculous to recover or have
been placed in the first place.
To have to run around on branches that wouldn't hold your
weight, ridiculous grades on cable and vines that don't sway, make ridiculous jumps is a reminder
the game is for gamers with little life experience that screams "this is ridiculous."

I am one of those who hasn't had a lot of time for games since the early days
of Mech Warrior 3. I only recently had time to discover Fallout and Mass
Effect.
As we near retirement, responsibilities for up to four generations of family,
from parents to grand children mean for people like me retirement will mean a
lot less money, travel and free time than we planned for. A return to gaming
beats the hell out of most ‘affordable cable TV'.
Don't know how much developers need or even want gamers like us who have
collected guns, hunted, climbed trees, driven 4x4 vehicles, risked
our lives for a living, done a lot that many young game developers seem
only able to imagine.
So many games seem designed for gamers with little life experience, that
realistic games like you are aiming to create are also an attraction for many of us
who have had to learn to alert to things that don't add up decades ago, (because we have family depending on us.)
Please keep it realistic but please don't drive away returning gamers with serious real life
responsibilities competing for their time, by forcing us to waste our free time on
time wasting obstacles there for the sake of bragging rights for game difficulty.
Please keep the action moving.

Have a level that gives us the options to choose and tune our gaming
experience to our circumstances,
It shouldn’t hurt any other gamers, bored and with tons of time to kill.

I am suggesting you make your redux 2 nod with a rookie level that allows rookie players to experience rookie level your modified world where anyone can walk from Zaton to Yanov to Pripyat and work their way up through stalker, veteran and master, maybe even adept. Your redux 2 could be to Stalker what the Metro redux games are to Metro.

No small bill to fill, but you seem closer than anybody else, want to make a name for yourself far and wide, like undisputed mod of the year?

Beacon,

The source code is released and can be downloaded here Github.com

What is so beneficial of using the source code?

Beacon,

Will you "take something" from the misery mod? such as weapons maintenance or other similar things?
