The envisionment of TK is to bring you what was promised by GSC for STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, instead of the gutted retail release we were left with. TK aims to cover every aspect imaginable from gameplay intended to genuinely scare the player, to graphics for the absolute best visual experience, cut mutants, absolute realism, optimisations, stability, and a complete game mechanics overhaul, all without breaking the story. The idea is to present the player with a complete retail experience for the purist that liked SoC but wished it was far more fleshed out. In no way what so ever does TK try to be like old beta or alpha builds of SoC, TK aims to enhance everything SoC already has - nothing more, nothing less.

This looks amazing. Quite a realistic sunset IMO, you got the lighting spot on!

Some constructive criticism: The Hud is a massive let down. It looks like some sort of graphical texture glitch. It would be far better to go with something cleaner and less crammed / confusing.

I don't normally suggest critique but I am genuinely hoping that you plan to change this. This is a fantastic mod. The visuals are very unique and the attention to detail is impressive. But the interface in it's current form does not compliment such a statement.

It's definitely a pretty shot, but it's also one of the ugliest hud's I've seen, sorry. I've mentioned the hud before and it's a shame to see that your work still hasn't been given a better one.

The HUD is fine, its intentionally compact for immersion and tactical/realism aspects (no bullet count so the player has to try and keep track of remaining rounds in the mag) While the smaller mini-map forces the player to actually look for their targets not just the red blip on the radar.

Now that is lovely. About the HUD I have used that one for some time just extracted it into the gamedata folder, while it is a great HUD for the immersion I personally feel it is to small and it is difficult to see properly what information is being displayed with that particular HUD.Perhaps though it is just my age and my eyesight.

I understand why some people wouldn't like the HUD but its one thing that really does only go one way or the other. People who play at lower resolutions would complain the HUD is too big if I made it bigger, and people who play at higher resolutions would complain the HUD is too small. Theres just way too many variables with a HUD to get it absolutely perfect for everybody and I knew this when editing mortals HUD which is why the mini-map is double the size compared to mortals version and general info on the right. In the grand scale of things though this HUD is actually bigger than the old TK HUD, the only thing thats actually gotten smaller is the mini-map.
