News on finishing the mod and some issues I have run into.

Hello Stalker Fans!!! I got some good news and some bad news.

First off the good news!!!

The end is in sight for the development of Srap2. I only have a few more weapons and objects to animate. Some fixes, edits, and porting are left. I will be fixing the fort and pkm. At this moment I am porting the mod to CS for use with SRP 1.5. Again Parts 1 and 2 will be combined with the last bit to make the final release.

At this moment I have to animate the rpg7, grenades, gauss, and binoculars. After that it is just sound fixes. I will most likely redo the knife though. I am a bit unhappy with the results of the old one.
I will be adding support for some new mods. Sky Reclamation Project 1.5 for CS is one. I only just discovered this unofficial patch, and it does everything that CS Complete set out to do with out all the extra bull. I may or may not include CS Complete compatibility. As for COP I will look into some other mods for it. Don't ask about MISERY, that would require a lot of extra work and an extra patch on the side.

I expect to have the mod out soon. Although... It will take some time yet. There is still a lot of bug fixing and updating to be done.

Now for the bad news.

I bought a brand new HDD for my backup storage. My old one was dying. I moved everything over just in time. The old HDD failed and no longer works. Not two weeks later, my new HDD stops responding. I have lost over 10 years of backup data. I still have the HDD and I may be able to recover it. Sadly this means that one of the thinks I planned to do I cannot.

I was going to update part one to include multiple reload animations. Sadly I cannot do this now. All my source files are on a HDD I do not have access to anymore. I will get them back. But I have no time or money to get the HDD fixed in the foreseeable future. So sorry guys.

Anyway! I will be needing testers in a few weeks. So if you want to help out, in making sure that the mod runs without issues. Please send me a PM.

Great news! I hope you recover the contents of your HDD.
Are there any plans to update the SoC version?

It's great to hear you're still on track, it's great news despite the loss of the HDD, wish you get your stuff back.

You already know that I used your project with my addon TAZ "The Armed Zone", and I had already picked up what you had started with Misery 2.2, I finished your job and implemented almost all your animations to the next update :) thanks for those awesome animations man.
