Ehh i dont think it really fits stalker, or the way this mod is, reminds me of something that would be in Far Cry, in a jungle, not the zone.

in the description, you said "If you play the mod with background music this is what you get when you are attacked" so, is there a way to take it off, and hopefully, specifically take only combat music off, cause i personally think this type of music will ruin the experience for me, but i would like to keep the rest of it.

And I like it. Although I play Stalker without music at all. It spoils the moment when someone is attacking ruining the element of surprise (it changes before the attackers even shoot)

Rather nice, although I disagree with AudioGhost. The beginning is good but seems to lack the crescendo for battle music. Just my opinion.

I think Combat Music is a Horrible idea, its not the music its just that it gets annoying when the main music for the world is getting turned of and on shifting your focus many times and just gets annoying and also CrommCruac is right it can be used for ruining the surprise of the zone

For ex. I wouldn't have any dynamic music, as it just doesn't cut it for me. But let players have the choice.

Stalker wasn't ever about this Far Cry like run 'n gun scheme, so I think that a piece like this would fit perfectly for the pace and temperament of a combat in the Zone:

To be honest, this reminds me more to Black Hawk Down than S.T.A.L.K.E.R., sounds are to "light", it needs to be more deep, something that resembles the darkness of The Zone

No, I don't think this is good at all. I wouldn't like this on any game. Mostly because it has those parts when big drums hit loudly and it would most definitely be counter intuitive (?) in a fight. Especially if you're pussyfooting after the mouse. That particular situation demands utter silence. I mean not even the sounds of birds or insects. You'd be concentrating for sounds of cracking wood or shaking bushes or squishing mud, not drums that go "boom-boom, boom-boom-boom - ba-BOOM, ba-BOOM-BOOM!"

In any case, I don't think it fits STALKER specifically.

How about the PARANOIA Mod OST ...
That mod has some great quantity of songs for both combat or atmosphere

PARANOIA OST is almost like this song, for what it looks like this mod needs something calm, quiet and more frightening, imho Fallout 3 have some preety good songs that may fit

I have decided to remove this piece of music leaving the combat music of MISERY to be NO music

You just used the music from the flash game "Achilles." Fail.

I don't like combat music either, but what I did like about dynamic music is how the music changes with the time of day/night. Maybe that can be separate from the option of combat music.

I think they needed to add a song like this for fire fights in particular, not THIS song but something with equal intensity at least through the beginning

I don't like the default solution for combat music in CoP and inspired by movies I came up with this decision:

If you play the mod with background music this is what you get when you are attacked:

Music being cut off leaving a silent and tense vacuum with only the relevant sound effects for the fight.
