I'm finding Misery very difficult and I'm also handling the level progression and overcoming challenges as intended (or so to trojanuch's design I believe) which makes me happy. No Exo skeleton suits or money exploits to make me overly secure. Finally I am now ready to move to the next area but experiencing the yanov issues, so ill patiently wait for the patch.

I find it interesting how in the Iron Forest people experience different mutants. Without trying to spoil too much, its definitely a tough one! But I did not suffer from *all* the dangers as reported. Thankfully too, because I was not prepared. But I died plenty being between a rock and a hard place (in terms of mutants haha).

Misery 2.0 is amazing. Sure there are bugs but I never enjoyed CoP as much as I have now.

You think that Exoskeletons are for people who want to be "overly secure"? Have you tried to go artifact hunting in one? even with TWO mama's beads you get 2 shot by a fire anomaly and your armor degrades quickly from the ambient heat. the SEVA suit that you can get from the scientists lets you just stand INSIDE OF fire anomalies and only take suit durability damage for quite awhile (in spite of the blood spatters)

Exo suits are weak in terms of Natural\Anomaly Resitances but they have the highest upgraded rupture + armor protection in the game when fully upgraded, 2nd is Bulat suit, 3rd is Clear Sky Suit i believe

Due to the nature of kevlar/steel plating within the game that is of little relevance . The exo is weak in anomalies and very strong in combat, the SEVA suit is strong in combat and strong in anomalies.

I don't think I'll be buying an exo suit in my play though. :)

I ran into a horde of snorks, a burer, the poltergeist and some zombies at iron forest, BUT I went to the lab entrance, found tools under the stairs, and when I came back out they had all spawned again! So I killed them again... Then between the iron forest and the gas station, I **** you not, I ran into a pseudogiant, then 2 more burers!, a pack of bloodsuckers and a pack of dogs. Not all at the same time, but like right after each other... all in that small area. Then I had to deal with the mercs at the gas station because a blowout was starting and I needed to hide in the snork lair. I can't even remember how many times I died during all this. Only in misery...

I had to wait 1 year for Misery 2, and you already want me waiting another year for Misery 3? You're mad. I believe that this with a few patches, would be the definite version of the mod and the game.

Survivor horror at it's finest, although slightly flawed. Once all the kinks are ironed out, this will be the definite Stalker: Call Of Pripyat mod.

With the intention of being realistic, it ends up feeling like its "overly" realistic, while some aspects make sense, others do not. The idea that a trained military sniper gets too tired to even move after WALKING about 100 yards, only carrying 10 pounds of equipment, seems silly to me. A normal person might get tired, but military personnel are trained to run for miles with much heavier equipment. The ai could still use work, their detection system is most certainly unrealistic and can be very…
