If possible could you add a stash (in next patch) to either zaton or jupiter with 2 veles detectors in it so that the scientists' mission can be done with certainty. Because at the moment its pure luck to come across the 2 extra veles detectors. And some 50 hrs in- I haven't been so lucky :(

2 extra?? what? the scientist give you one as a reward, so there is just one left, which if you complete ALL the scientist tasks, except the one needing the svarog, they will start selling veles. a no brainier.

Ya. I didn't know that the scientists give one more as a reward. Just got it myself. Though I still have one more to get.

I was spending my time looking for the detectors by killing bandits and mercs which was clearly the wrong place to look. My bad.

They should also do the Meat Chunk artifact and it never spawns anywhere for me in my current playthrough. and nobody sells it...

check the caves under the burnt farmstead and the swamps where one of the helis.

Well I got 3 of those (meat chunk) from the swamp and under the burnt farmstead- and I sold all three of them like an idiot completely forgetting that there is a quest for that. So am in the same spot as you currently unless I find another.

Did you find the kolobok artefact though? If you did then where?

I found 2 koloboks i think.
Wait for Blowouts and Go for chemical Anomalies.
Koloboks will more likely form there.

i lucked out with meatchunks xD there was 3 in the swamp and one in the caves under the burt farmstead (i think this is still a fixed spawn however the kolobok wasnt where it should have been)

Survivor horror at it's finest, although slightly flawed. Once all the kinks are ironed out, this will be the definite Stalker: Call Of Pripyat mod.

With the intention of being realistic, it ends up feeling like its "overly" realistic, while some aspects make sense, others do not. The idea that a trained military sniper gets too tired to even move after WALKING about 100 yards, only carrying 10 pounds of equipment, seems silly to me. A normal person might get tired, but military personnel are trained to run for miles with much heavier equipment. The ai could still use work, their detection system is most certainly unrealistic and can be very…
