Hello ppl, first of all big props to the mod devs as this has been my favourite stalker experience so far.Absolutely no ctds expect wounded ppl and everything has been really smooth sailing didnt find a single bugged quest ,concerning those i tried at least. Yesterday i posted about the issue of disapearring weapons on npcs. After testing it further i realised that if an npc loots someone then the loot disappears after u kill second npc even if this is fallen weapons or regural looting process. Weirdly though if they loot mutants then that remains on them. Can a dev elaborate on this as i havent seen this in known issues section. Maybe its intended so npcs dont get stacked up their *****?

Can't decide if I should start a new game with all these new patches coming out or keep playing as I am, since I've just found a TRG and an AEK... can someone who has started a new game testify as to the better stability and framerate of Misery with the new patches? Are they great enough to warrant a new game?

Also, are we to expect any more patches in the future? I love Misery, but I'm kind of getting frustrated at all these new ones coming out, adding features that only work when you start a new game. Are we at last able to say conclusively that this is the final one, that this is essentially Misery 2.0 complete?

99% of the recent stuff does not require a new game + actually majority of people don't have problems and didn't have them even on v2.0.1. What you read on forums comes from the simple fact that if you don't have problems you are much less likely to post anything than if you have.

So I woudn't be worry too much - if your playthru was stable until now it shoudn't get any worse after any of the latest patches.

So pls chill :)

Oh don't worry I definitely am and I apologise if I didn't sound like it. I only ask because I have been experiencing crashes - not enough to break the game because I highly enjoy it and you guys deserve a ton of credit, but enough for me to ask whether these new patches might solve that.

So yeah, can anyone who's experienced pre and post-patch say whether starting a new game showed a large improvement in performance or negligible? If the former I'll start a new game, if the latter I think I'll carry on!

I can conclusively, without a shadow of a doubt, say that this is *not* "final," and that's a good thing. It means the devs are listening and trying hard to make the mod better. Be patient.

I understand that and I have been. I guess my only real gripes are the features that require a new game. Someone asked in the forum if it was really so hard to start a new game - well yeah, frankly. You get invested in your own story - something that will be lost every time you start a new game. I'd at least like to get all of these features out the way at least so I can just play Misery the way it was meant to be played.

Survivor horror at it's finest, although slightly flawed. Once all the kinks are ironed out, this will be the definite Stalker: Call Of Pripyat mod.

With the intention of being realistic, it ends up feeling like its "overly" realistic, while some aspects make sense, others do not. The idea that a trained military sniper gets too tired to even move after WALKING about 100 yards, only carrying 10 pounds of equipment, seems silly to me. A normal person might get tired, but military personnel are trained to run for miles with much heavier equipment. The ai could still use work, their detection system is most certainly unrealistic and can be very…
