Massive tweak of new ways to use items found ingame
. Some items can be sharpened now (shovels, swiss army knife, cutlery, grooming kit)

- Mutants can be looted only with use of sharp objects: knives, sharpened items or "Hunting Kit"

• Added quick-sharpening, with added possibility to use two separate one-usage-left sharpening stones to sharpen a shovel (shovels need two stones usages)

• Food cans have to be opened with a sharp object (knives, sharpened items, etc)

• The secret purposes of nearly every item you thought for immersion only will become readily apparent.

• Hints describe the purposes of items.

• Everyday items can now be sharpened and used to assist in getting more out of every item you find.

• A specialized Hunters Kit can be used to get the maximum amount of loot from Mutants. Yes, it’s now a viable source of income.

• Other makeshift items can also be used when sharpened and degrade with use.

• You can now salvage (with the appropriate tools) useable items from broken radios, Geiger counters, etc. reducing the weight of your loot and freeing up resources while in the field or camp.

• The more suitable a tool is for use the greater the benefit earned when salvaging items.

• Specialized salvage toolkits enable maximum recovery just like the Hunters Kit.

Hey I found somthing strange. I finally bought the M24 Green Dragon sniper rifle and fully upgraded it. The Zoom upgrade made the sniper that much better. But as I scope in ofcourse there is sway. Yet when its swaying it seems to have automaticly misslined with the scope at maximum magnification.

For example: I line my shot for a headshot on a bandit. I took the shot but saw the bullet completely of course of where I aimed. Its like the shots only go of where your crosshair is. But the sway makes the shot not count.

I would appreciate if this can be fixed somhow. Or if I could get some information on this matter.

I've noticed the same, but I think it actually has more to do with bullet drop (I can't say for certain because from far away even scoped in it isn't always easy to see where the bullet hits), so use the range-finder built into the scope and use the lower chevrons for long-range shots (generally the second chevron below center is enough for me), see if that solves your problem. If not, you could be right in that something needs to be fixed.

Just one shot in the bears head with that gun and the bear is history. Which weapon do I need to kill a boar? A T-84? Do not misunderstand me, this mod is probably excellent, but dying after 2 minutes because of 1 shity dog is not realistic.

yup those bitches are hard to kill. you probably didn't hit it or else one shot is enough to kill it. If you are still having a bad day then get a pistol with .45 acp hydro rounds (try the march, order it from nimble) and get the full auto upgrade. And the gun becomes as good as an smg, even better actually!

Do not shoot boars and flashes in the head, shoot them in body.

GET a GOOD SNIPER RIFLE And Got to the tower What is next to he building where you collect the TOOLS for NITRO..

From THE TOWER u WILL be able To See all 3 Of them ( Bloodsuckers) AIM FOR THE HEAD AND BE QUICK

Do that quest in DAYTIME Cos On top of the tower is someone almost all the time incase one of them try's to get till you or you disturb them :)

I hope This HINT will not SPOIL YOUR GAME PLAY

Hmm somehow when i play the game As normal and Misery MOD the all the time are just chilling around the swamp minding there own thing :D

Your strategy is good, but I also I have one and it is quite the opposite to yours, I use either a shotgun and instead of running away I go where are the bloodsuckers, I get on a fallen tree with many branches, and very patience and good aim kill them one by one, excuse my English :P

The tactic's are different to any player i use mine cos i think it's easy for me as ( SNIPER )

Survivor horror at it's finest, although slightly flawed. Once all the kinks are ironed out, this will be the definite Stalker: Call Of Pripyat mod.

With the intention of being realistic, it ends up feeling like its "overly" realistic, while some aspects make sense, others do not. The idea that a trained military sniper gets too tired to even move after WALKING about 100 yards, only carrying 10 pounds of equipment, seems silly to me. A normal person might get tired, but military personnel are trained to run for miles with much heavier equipment. The ai could still use work, their detection system is most certainly unrealistic and can be very…
