Thanks, don't get me wrong, the gun does look sweet.

But there's always going to be a special place in my heart for the G36c.

ever shot one? a real full auto one?

WinterOG May 30 2013, 2:16am replied:

Sadly, no. Fully automatic weapons are illegal over here.

And I don't know if there's a semi-auto version of it, so I'll probably never get to shoot one.

C-Savage May 30 2013, 8:39am replied:

there is a semi version of it, but the way the laws in the US work is that the barrel has to be at least 16" unless you have a tax stamp, (getting that takes a almost 6 months depending on what state your in) but the full auto short barrel "real" g36c is one of the most fun guns I have ever shot other than an Auto-Ordinance Thompson (the real one, not the semi auto verson)

Will it be the same for all guns ? Like for the L85 (for example) will it have different profiles and even a Marksman version ?

WinterOG May 28 2013, 9:09am replied:

I'm pretty sure it says in the features that it will be like this for all the guns.

I hope that a SVD will be reskinned... The one in misery 1.0 looks like someone dropped it in a glass of pan galactic gargle blaster...

Holy smokes guys, this looks amazing and yet again makes me look foward so much to the release. BTW, how's it coming? Smooth sailing or some hindrances?

It saddens me that the 552 has the "Combat sight" permanently attached, I'm one of those guys that just uses ironsights, But I am glad to see so much variation in my favorite assault rifle, is the grenade launcher permanantly attached on the 550 custom?

Wizzrobe May 29 2013, 8:11pm says:

I truly believe the 'sniper variant' should be more known as a 'DMR', or designated marksman rifle. Especially seeing as it still uses 5.56x45 (going off of the same-size magazine profile)

Also, the optic on it looks.. far too back. Looks like there's no space between where a cheek weld is to be had.

C-Savage May 30 2013, 8:41am replied:

yes, that eye relief has to be horrible! the objective lens of the optic should be somewhere around the transition of the upper receiver to the stock

Just need my AS Val and i'm ready to go, just need to make sure it's not full of fluff and degradation first of course, wouldn't want my weapon to not work during a firefight after all, hate that... DX

Here's an example of what the "New Ordnance" submod does to the arsenal of MISERY 2.0.

It brings an incredible amount of diversity to most vanilla weapons but also some of those that were added to MISERY 1.1.

As portrayed here a SIG-550 is no longer just a SIG-550.
Now this weapon can be found in a neglected, modern, standard and customized profile.

Each profile having its own unique characteristics and attributes.
Especially the sniper profile which is practically a whole new weapon that puts it in the sniper rifle category.

Weapon profiles vary in weight, trading value, availability, reliability, upgrade schematics etc.

'New' guns degrade slower but have higher chance of jamming if they get low condition.

'Worn' guns degrade faster but will not jam that much despite low condition as mechanical parts are adjusted to work with each other.

Old, worn, rusty and neglected profiles even have their own benefits as with economy being the most significant as they are up to 50% cheaper than standard issue versions. They are also far cheaper to maintain.

Watch the New Ordnance trailer here:

'New Ordnance' (with _xXxTWiST3DxXx_ as original author) has ceased development as a standalone mod. But the MISERY dev team has brought it to life - and with the release of MISERY 2.0 you will have the full fleshed version of "New Ordnance" featured.
