that's not the first time, i read several articles about Misery mod ,in PCGAMER mag !
This is one of them times, It's not a new countdown. The articles nearly 2 years old.

Misery is an amazing mod.
I remember during the beginning of the game I had a shoot out with a couple Bandits in a foggy environment. I Downed one but ran out of ammo, however so did the other. I pulled out my knife and he threw his grenade at me, I jumped away to suddenly see him sprinting like an athlete deep into the fog. I lost him.
Were I to ever meet him again? Did he survive? I don't know, but it was awesome.
NPCs run out of ammo?
Now if only the mod was any logical, or good... hmm...

This mod is legen-wait for it-dary!
One thing that keeps angering me-I can never make it through the Pripyat underground with all of my teammates alive.Every time 1 of them dies.Makes the game far more interesting.
But all those sounds,mutants,anomalies and radiation were never harder than now.The bullets,the guns,the deadly Stalkers were never smarter and tougher than now.

Don't know if I have the right to say this, having not played S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but I'm not a big fan of a thirst system (or even hunger for that matter). Feels a bit tedious IMO.
