My favorite depends on the class I play. For sniper is SVU-2A, for Recon is Tide and for Assaulter i'm not really sure TBH.

Assaulter: Favourite is probably the Clear Sky armour. It's decent armour, about as good as a Berill and probably cheaper than a Berill going by Owl's inflated prices. The main reason I like it is that it's not a gamble. When I hand over my down payment to Nimble I know exactly what I'll be getting. Least favourite would be Ghillie suit, I won't be using that as an Assaulter.

Recon: Favourite is pistols, hopefully getting the Steppe Eagle but I'll take Alpine or March. Least favourite would be Ghillie suit again.

Sniper: Sniper rifle option. I like the SVU-2a best, I'd also be happy to get offered a Lynx, but unfortunately the Tide is a poor weapon for the Zone IMHO so I always have misgivings about ordering from Nimble. For a Sniper class, my least favourite offering would be the assault rifles option, Storm in particular.

I second that one!

The Ghillie

The Ghillie... (Damm you DanPhyronix and your kitty picture) It will do the perfect match to my Snipur {Snipur is real}. [I bought it with a lost Recon who got trapped himselft in the wild lands of Jupiter in The Zone... Damm you too Pseudo-Giants and your stumpi stompper foots!!!]

I have to say that i'm not a big fan of nimble at all. I like the idea of "mp5lng" who wants to change nimble into a regular vendor in his upcoming new version of "The Armed Zone" Mod for Misery 2.2.

Regarding the topic - i didn't like pistols in Misery in general. The "Steppe Eagle" is a modified Desert Eagle i guess? So ich choose that.

Pistols have been given a performance boost for 2.2, but I never bothered with one either. I've taken to only carrying one long arm and a dedicated sniper when the mission calls for it. I rarely even use a shottie lately.

.45 pistol with hydroshock round and mounted silencer, saiga or trapers shotgun for close range combat and sniper rifle or assault rifle with decent scope is my ordinary gears for mid to end game. Early in game when I was still poor like a mouse, I use whatever is available.

Pistols are quite good for close range and stealth aproach, shotgun if stealthy aproach does not work and long range sniper if you don't wnat to be bored with sneaky cheeki breeki :)

I always buy pistol from Nimble to trigger Snags thief quest and usualy there is always better weapons in loot than Nimble has to offer. SVD alternative with deatachable scope is quite good alternative if you can afford ammo. It offers different combo by changing scopes, night vision scope to save battery, 2.x scope or even without one for close/medium range combat and 5x scope for long range. SVD Gghille, besides cool look provides bounus to stealth, provides quite a punch but it's drawback is that you can't mount silencer on it, partly due to mesh used for it partly due to gamebalance purpose.

Drawback for both described SVDs is that ammo is expencive and hard to find early in the game and later on when you got some money, you can afford/find even better rifles.

My favourite nimble gear is the stuff you cannot find as loot. So the 7.62x39 groza(storm?) or the clearsky armour.

There's a problem with the Tide, his range is awful. Easily the least favourite imo.

I would say my favourite item is the CS3A, quite decent protection in mid-game.

About the pistols in MISERY... I think you are just shooting stalkers with the wrong ammo. 1911 works wonders with the Hydro, can take Mid-Tier stalkers ( Sunrise suit, etc. ) 2-3 hits in the chest at 50m. And I love how it sounds. But the typical 9mm Makarov just...take a full JHP magazine at least to take down a Low-Tier (Jackets, Coats, etc. ) Stalker.

I sometimes feel like 9x18 is very underpowered. Still, love to shoot those little boomsticks.

Aug 17 2015 Anchor

The full auto 9x18 pistol is pretty decent. I sometimes use it early game.

Aug 19 2015 Anchor

It's decent because you just shoot 20 bullets in 2 seconds, but the full damage must be as much as a couple 7,62x54R :D
