System Requirements Thread - MISERY mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

This is a well known subject and often easily confused about, so a short summary of how Xray actually works:

STALKER in general is a CPU intensive game. The scripts and logic behind Xray often takes more of your PC than the graphics. DayZ, ARMA and the likes are the same. Even when you turn down all graphic options, the game might still lag because of the newly implanted improved AI, smart terrains, features etc. Bear this in mind.

Now, for the system requirements.

The standard requirements for S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, are these. Please remind yourself of the fact that if your PC / Laptop doesn't meet these requirements, we best advice you to either upgrade or disregard the MISERY mod. The mod itself, albeit not the most graphically demanding, will probably introduce more lag to a low end system than the vanilla version does.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS (STALKER: COP)

Minimum System Requirements:

• Intel Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz / AMD XP 2200+
• 512 MB RAM
• 128 MB DirectX^® 8.0 compatible card / nVIDIA^® GeForce™ 5700 / ATI Radeon™ 9600

Recommended System Requirements:

• Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 / AMD 64 X2 5600+
• 2 GB RAM
• 512 MB DirectX^® 9.0c compatible card / nVIDIA^® GeForce™ 9800 GTX / ATI Radeon™ HD 4850

Increased performance will be noticed on more powerful systems.We recommend ATI Radeon™ HD 5800 Series (or better) video cards to enable DirectX^® 11 and ATI Eyefinity technology for maximum performance and visual quality.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS (STALKER: MISERY)

Minimum System Requirements:

• Intel Core2 Duo 3.4 Ghz / AMD Equivalent CPU
• 1024MB (1GB) RAM
• 512 MB DirectX^® 8.0 compatible card

Recommended System Requirements:

• Intel Core2 Quad +3,4 Ghz / AMD Equivalent CPU
• 4096MB (4GB) RAM
• 1024MB (1GB) DirectX^® 10.0 compatible card / nVIDIA^® GeForce™ GTX-2xx, GTX-4xx, GTX-5xx, GTX-6xx and GTX-7xx / ATI Radeon™ HD5xxx, HD6xxx and HD7xxx series

An increase in performance will be noticed with clockspeeds above 3,4Ghz. We recommend you to bear in mind we (in no way) oblige you to overclock your PC and or Laptop, in order to play the mod. The engine itself just performs better at speeds above 3,4Ghz. For reference, I will also list my own specs in here with some average FPS indications along the way.

I also noticed the heavily forested areas dipping my games FPS a bit, but it's nothing really classified as 'unplayable'. This was all tested with version 2.1 of the MISERY mod.
