I think that repair and cleaning kits should have their price bumped up but have unlimited uses. I don't really think that after using a cleaning rod 3 times on your gun is just gonna have it snap in half or your repair tools wont just crumble after giving your gun a wack or two with em. I'd like to hear your opinions on this as well.

I'm also unable to use the advanced sewing kit that says it can repair all outfits to repair my current one.

And my condition if over the minimum needed to allow it to be repaired

I made a personal modification to the repair system I may end up releasing if people are interested into it. It works more or less this way: a toolkit/repair kit works exactly the same way as normal as long as it has some "charges" left, at which point it becomes an empty toolkit that still allows you to repair stuff, but adds 0% durability. That means you can only repair by using other materials.
The reason behind it is that while you use the spare parts you have in a toolkit (allowing you to repair a weapon or armor with no other requirements than the toolkit itself) after you use up said spare parts you still have some of the tools left, so you can continue using the toolkit as long as you provide the materials. For example if you have an empty toolkit and need to repair your armor you need to find some cloth or metal mesh or something similar.
I find it balanced because with an empty toolkit you are only able to add usually 3-6% back instead of like 25-30% when using a toolkit that still has the proper spare parts inside. Most of the times I use non-empty toolkits to repair a nice but very damaged weapon as it only takes 2-3 times to repair it compared to 15-20 with an "empty" toolkit and keep the empty ones only for minor repair works. It's a nice way of using up all of the materials you end up stashing, too, as in my gameplays I always end up with a ton of boots, grooming kits, etc.

Sorry, it took a while but I was not sure about how to package it properly (and had a very busy week, too).

BEWARE: this mod is UNTESTED and it may destroy your computer! Just saying...
My game is heavily modded so it's likely these modified scripts will have issues with vanilla Misery.
I'll try to fix anything you guys report as soon as possible!
Please tell me if you have any problem, questions or suggestions.

Again, please back up your game folder in case you run into problems.
Included is a readme file explaining what this mod does and how to install it.
Download from here:

enjoy!
