Is there any way to re-enable these features of misery? I know how to re-enable Psi-storms but the game crashes whenever I load a save during a psi-storm, and I am not quite able to find a fix for it. I would find my Misery experience far more 'miserable' (ba-dum ching) if the Fallout and Psi-storm events of Atmosfear were enabled for me to enjoy, so has anyone exactly found a way to make both of them work? I have gotten Psi-storms to activate in game but I am not able to have any Fallout storms.

They are disabled because they caused problems that were too time consuming to tackle. I would try not to save during them ;) I also do not know if it matters whether you start a new game with them enabled or if you can just turn them on and off without complications.

Yeah. I made a mod compilation+my own stuff before I found out about misery and I actually ended up disabling psi storms because they would start up during story events and such and things wouldn't work out well. I also disabled the acid rain for other reasons.

Anyways \gamedata\configs\atmosfear_parameters.ltx seems to be the file you want to edit. In there are two lines

opt_enable_fallout = 0

opt_enable_psi_storm = 0

Just make those 1 and you should be good. I haven't tested it or anything but I assume it works.

Just looking at the settings now. I am wondering if changing the shorter duration periods to be a bit longer would fix the sudden weather changes you sometimes see.

The weather is supposed to progress from rain through cloudy before jumping straight to clear and that's why there is a period of semi-crappy weather right before and after emissions to make a more natural transition. kcs123 has fixed the sudden change in Wx that sometimes occurs when you reload for 2.2.

nifty

Customizing the weather by editing the graphs is relatively easy as long as you leave the transitions for the emissions alone you can make it mostly crappy weather, mostly sunny/clear or whatever floats your boat. Deserteagle had a thing for extremely foggy, but things like controllers are nightmares in the fog.

Well as far as I can tell, you can't adjust the settings back when you change them, it appears my game will forever have Psi-storms going on and off.

That should not be the case. Changing the field back from a one to a zero should stop them immediately AFAIK. Absolutely, after starting a new game. It's dangerous to mess with Mother Nature ;)
