NEXT UPDATE
We have more aspects to share some light on and show in public.
At the same time this is our attempt to reward your patience and continuously share development progress with everyone.

Please put your vote to tell us which aspect YOU would like to have published next:
- Combat Teaser (very short gameplay video)?
- Something about Diversity?
- A look at one of the New Items added?
- Hunting, part 2?
- Another New Ordnance weapon preview?
- Something about Music/Sfx?
- Ingame screenshots?

- A Concept Artwork wallpaper?
- Or simply let the MISERY Dev Team decide?

If you can't see the options clearly (because of the CSS tweak) just highlight the lines of text.

The poll will close at the end of the week and dictate us what to reveal next.

Looking forward to seeing your pick.
Peace / MISERY dev team

Actually I'd like to hear something about diversity. A short combat video is not so interesting for me, since I think that combat is only a tiny side aspect of Stalker, anyway. So either diversity or hunting it is.

Bear in mind that combat is not just combat when shown in a gameplay video (although very short).
May it also show hints of textures, effects, sound, etc? I would expect that...

HOWEVER
Diversity, Hunting or any other of the options will NOT let you down I promise.
These options hold a lot of facts and previewing on their own.
And they may even be more specific in their information about that certain aspect.

Dearest TZP Team, please tell me that the combat feels much the same. The only enemies that should take more bullets than you are dudes in exoskeletons and mutants and even then mutants shouldn't be bulletsponges, with the exception of pseudogiants. I've been playing Misery again and I absolutely love the balance, dear christ don't fuck me on this.
As an aside, I hope that higher ranking stalkers will have more loot on them for the whole risk reward factor.I voted for combat, despite it being the obvious choice because I'm praying that you'll keep everything the same but better.

You will not be disappointed with combat in MISERY 2.0.
And we did do a lot of new cool configs in terms of ranks.
Higher ranked NPCs will have better loot, better equipment quality, better combat skills, more advanced AI, etc.
On a side note we made sure that only noobs and rookies will shout to each other during combat to cooperate.
Militant guys and highly ranked NPC (like Mercenaries) will do all of these combat tactics and interaction with their mouths shut.
They have ways for every combat scenario and do not have to shout (and thus reveal their positions).
This is just an example of the many things we did

That is certainly good to hear, now with all due respect, GET BACK TO WORK. Haha, all aboard the hype train.

How NPC's react on the sniper's shooting? Are them hide or no? Because i saw in more mods and 1.1 that the NPC's quietly search their partners and sitting down near by fire like nothing happened.

We should get back to work?
You don't want us to mod then... but turn to our professional focus and roles instead?
Okay then, see you next week

Its time to hunting part 2

Jun 5 2013 Anchor

I'm bringing up issues related to Misery, I hardly see that as negative.
I want him to fix the bleeding issue, because it adds a ton of immersion to other mods.
You said it yourself, you don't know anything about what I'm talking about, so no need to blindly hate when you don't know a thing.

So do yourself a favor and stop going out of your way to hate on people who see things differently, alright?

Edit: I'd like to see more hunting as well.

Admin Notion: Deleted the previous replies.

Update threads are NOT for discussion of any kind what-so-ever. We have our sub forums for this here. Please create threads to discuss the mod in :)

(This is to keep the update threads to the point)

I must say Misery 2.0 sounds better and better. I really hope I can get my X ray Engine to work when its released. I voted for diversity :) Will Medkits give you more health around this time, and can you run longer without loosing to much stamina when you are a little full of items? :)

@W4rSkuLL

Hey man! We've indeed increased the amount of stamina accordingly to each class. Also, to answer your other question: Health packs are indeed buffed, but we've also added Stims in, which will give you a quick boost within combat.

Lol, it seems like the last option wins, which makes the whole vote-for-updates-thing pointless for (atm) 28% of the voters. :D

Come on people, just a few more combat votes!!!
