Misery is good. It's excellent. It's awesome. Now, if only you can do freeplay without doing the main quest.... Is it possible to implement that? I don't care if it's CoC or anything, I just want freeplay.

Pick your class and solicit a saved game from someone who has finished storyline. CoC is already free play, it's just almost empty and far too easy from the couple hours I toyed with it. Especially after 2.2 is released, continuing free play will be much more fun because you can camp and all. Nice supply of anabiotics and you would never need to return to base :D

K.E.V.L.A.R. made Misery addition where he striped off all quest lines and all known stashes. You start a new game in similar way as black road and you are free to do whatever you want. Luinks wre still available somewhere on forum, although it is bit of outdated, you will probably need to mess around with files provided to merge evereything with latest available Misery patch.

If you're talking about Black Road Extreme, it's just a save file. Did anyone finish the game on 2.1.1?

Dozens of times :D but those saves are long gone I'm afraid or I would have offered one.

Well, the freeplay extreme works on 2.1.1, but the spawns are RIDICULOUS... But, choosing between spawning in the iron forest workshop underground and pripyat I of course chose pripyat, but it's still a pain in the ass...

You know what's ridiculous? During free play, When I was testing alife range at 250, I was scouting with sniper rifle on the quarry's edge where the large digger is. A cross the map at edge of the alife spawn range (I think), a swarm of mutant suddenly spawned out of thin air. 6 snorks, 4 boars, 7+ cats, 5 or 6 dogs, 2 controller psudodogs,1 giant and 3 dwarfs, appeared at same spot. Running away was the only logical choice.

That's ludicrous timing... So you're telling me you were there the exact moment they spawned? Anyways, mutants routinely spawn in smart terrains, and you just happened to be there when a wave of them spawned. The spawn all together btw.

Now that is one big spawn. :)

If you are viewing via scope you can see past your switch_distance. Life still exists beyond it, it it just not drawn. Then you cross the threshold and a mob on the other side becomes visible.
