More precisely, I would like to reduce:

1) the range of its psy-aura
2) the damage this aura does
3) the oniscience through which Poltergeists detect you from afar, even if youre fully static.

Can someone help me with this ? Sorry if this info is somewhere here. My google-fu is not so good.

Thanks in advance.

You will have to play around with values. Edit C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Stalker Call of Pripyat\gamedata\configs\creatures\m_poltergeist.ltx I prefer a shotgun. They are not where their visual effect appears, more would be a spoiler.

I checked the file but couldnt make much sense of it. Thanks anyway.

If someone know which parameters to adjust for these effects, please lemme know. Thks.

It's in configs\creatures\m_poltergeist.ltx:

Someone wrote: psy_linear_factor = 1.8
psy_quadratic_factor = 0.027
psy_max_distance = 52.0
psy_max_power = 5.05
psy_sound = anomaly\psy_polter ;monsters\controller\controller_presence_l
psy_pp_effector_name = psy_antenna ;postprocess_psi
psy_pp_highest_at = 0.2

First param is the most important.

Thank you very much, sir !

Actually if you're still they won't throw stuff at you even though you get the blue aura. You will notice if you move it will start to turn white and if you stop it goes back to blue. If you're slow you can get pretty close to them, close enough to kill them with hand grenades. I've learned this recently
