I got to be honest, the flashlight model (shining directly into your face) is an awful design decision.

I.imgur.com

I just stated the Black Road and spawned into the middle of the night. I had to quit as its annoying as hell.

Is this some sort of unavoidable limitation of the engine? As it makes no sense to have it like this at all.

can download from moddb... it's private.

So i downloaded this and installed it following the Readme to the dot. Im not sure this is better or worse.

Oh BTW thats the Sniper Class selected

Jul 31 2013, 2:53pm Anchor

With the quickfix atleast "O" (should be Artifact-Scanner?) works for me as Flashlight.

But "L" doesn't work. Or is this wanted and "L" is the Head-flashlight...?

I'm sniper too...

you have to buy and equip a headlamp first

The flashlight hotfix isn't working for me either.

I installed the fix, but nothing happened, still have this millisecond of a lightflash, then it turns away again.
edit:
Ok nevermind, didn´t know you have to press detector for flashlight.

Maybe you're talking about headlamp.
If so, you need to buy and equip the headlamp in game.

I downloaded a version of the fix from a french site. Just google stalker misery flashlight fix, it's the 7th result from top. I have the same appearance as ponney68.

It seems weird that the mod escaped testing with such an obvious bug. That's for the fix but I honestly think zussel's looks better.

I've never seen such a bug on beta testing.
There was something mistake at the final merging.
Also, I think current position needs alignment, too.
Thanks for your feedback.

Ok, I can reproduce your problem now.
It's only on 4:3 resolution, should be fixed.
