Hey guys, is there any way to set all equipment proficiencies as HIGH? I would like to play as a recon because of its bonuses, but i also want to try all the weapons and armor without having 3 different builds. I tried copying ppsh-41's folder from recon and put it in assaulter's class diversity, but it didn't seem to do anything (back When i played As assaulter obviously). Can anyone Help ? |

Not without modding it. We won't do it. It would take more work than 3 full play thoughs. |

Oh alright then, but in that case What Really happens When i put that recon's ppsh-41 into assaulter's ppsh-41 folder? Nothing? I thought the stats of the weapon are given by the weapon's folder. |

The stats are given by the weapons .ltx configuration file including its FOV, and class specific stats. When you copy say a high proficiency weapon from a class' folder into an installation of another class the benefits are felt, but the descriptions will not change. You could start a game in the class you desire then copy the high prof weapons from the other two classes (from the same FOV) into your installation and you would, in effect, have high proficiency with all weapons. the descriptions would all remain the same. The High, Medium, Low and the colored dots for those effects are contained in an .xml file for the class. It would be a royal PIA to edit all those to match. TBH, you're going to hate at least half the weapons, even at high proficiency. Your tastes will remain your tastes. Medium proficiency is hard to tell apart from high, low is a much more noticeable effect. I constantly use Medium prof weapons and never have any troubles at all. |
