v1.1 All Guns have had the decibel levels increased, and some weapon sounds completely changed from the initial release. If you use Headphones I would recommend lowering the volume. Also included are Death sounds from Red Orchestra 2 as another extra pack.
I wasn't happy with the firearm sounds that came packaged with STCoM/Last Day. The purpose of this pack is to rectify this issue. Most of the sounds came from a sound pack created for Insurgency by TAYLOROV-92 & Porpeta Voraz. (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=394311779) which were converted to STALKER by me.
The only thing not changed in terms of weapons are the explosion sounds. I could not get the sound levels to work properly with new explosion sounds that I had intended to use. However I converted the sounds to replace the guns and tweaked their levels and set the attributes to work properly within the game world. If I missed any sounds for a specific gun you should easily be able to overwrite what wasn't replaced with what is packed in this file, by copying renaming the sounds you want to use.
Another thing that comes packed in are three extra sound packs related to music. I have left them optional in case you do not want to use them.
The Combat music is snippets taken from the Quake 1 soundtrack as I wanted to have a horror/industrial ambience to the combat. I had not intended to include it in this pack, since I converted it for personal use. However I was very happy with the results so I decided to throw it in this pack. Be sure to turn on Dynamic music, in the game options if you decide to use it.
The Radio Overhaul. Does exactly what it sounds like. It replaces the radio stations in Call of Misery/Last Day with the original SoC tracks, and the radio tracks from Autumn Aurora mod. Which most are made by the group "Vàli".
The Last pack is the Red Orchestra 2 Death Sounds. Originally made by Tripwire Interactive and converted by TKGP. It was hard for me to find this mod again, so I wanted to package it in with what is included. Mainly cause I plan on changing other player sounds such as footsteps, bullet hits, and pain sounds in the future.

For some reason i'm crashing sometimes (specially during firefights and change levels) and the log is related to weapons maybe it's at my end but i will give you you the log just in case.

I fixed the issue with those sounds I'm going to try and have an update out before the end of the day.
Very good job :) Love this sounds, but in my opinion they are too quiet.
After some test in game, i need to say the sounds are great but it need some tweaks on the volume of some weapons but overall is great!
New Version is up which should address the complaints about the low volume on guns, and the issue PeptoPay had above. I reworked pretty much all of them. Some I even made certain alterations to make them stand out more.
SVU sound bug, SVU has suppressor but sound its without.
Fixed. Uploaded the new version with the fix. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Nice. I have hundreds of sounds saved over the years from stalker and this will be a nice addition.
Another SVU bug, low sound and some shoots no sound. This problem it's only in some game, when i reloadgame the sound is perfect.
Reloading the game seems to solve it for me.
I haven't experienced this issue yet, but I'll do some more testing. Thanks for letting me know.
Last year i did a pack with the same sounds, but i have the newer version of his mod included too.

Gun sounds working but i cant hear any screams from death People ;C
If I remember right the default death barks pack is mainly for when npcs are lying on the ground wounded. I will expand on the death and pain sounds in general, in a few days. I've been slowly working on it when I have free time.
There is an addon for CoC that restores the ShoC system of death sounds. I guess it will work with Last Day and the Red Orchestra 2 sounds should just override the sounds from ShoC
I don't think the naming conventions/path is changed so they should work out of the box. If not then the next update I do will be for player/npc pain and death sounds with some other additions anyway so it will work then.
Can you tell me the exactly name of the addon?

Thank you sir. I don't have AO on any of my current installs of STALKER. If you feel up to it, you are welcome to just take what I have packed and rename it to fit the AO naming conventions. In the future I might make a straight port to AO, but for right now I'm focusing on Last Day/STCoM.

Just wanted to touch base for anyone interested. I'm still working on the sound pack, currently finishing off the player and npc pain and death calls while slowly adding new ambience to fit with the new weapon sounds. It's gonna take me a bit longer to get the update out, but rest assured I'm still working on it.
Is it compatible with newest patch?
It should still work with the current version. Unless something has been changed to the paths or definitions of the sound files. Regardless I'll make sure its working properly for the newest version when I release the next version of the pack.
Saw reply about new ambient sounds to fit with weapons, possibly include as optional for compatibilty with TRX's ambient sound overhaul
All of the sound packs are optional. I keep them separate for that very reason. :)

Its something I've been planning to work on, but it won't be in the next release.
Amazing work, I really appreciate how thorough of a mod this is!
Plus, the "hit" sound when a bullet either passes or hits something near the player; it sounds exactly like the sonic boom of a bullet passing by or hitting something nearby. HUUUUUUUGEEE realism boost!
