What's next ?


The next patch is almost finished and I would put it online next week. It fixes some bugs you found and add new skins and sounds. It will be compatible with previous savedgames then I would work on the next major version of the mod that will reintroduce the Freeplay after tchernobyl NNP.


Artifact Activation


I have adapted the great mini-mod made by fnx for Reloaded and you can now place the
artifacts you find as a weapon, simply press the left mouse button to prepare an artifact that after a brief
time generates an anomaly related to the type of artifact used.

just checked in to see if any updates were added. i never got a reply for my "30ft shadow" that is around me. it is pretty obnoxious in the sun. (playing the beta. i did delete my .ltx before starting this mod. max settings, using dx10 not 10.1)
any thoughts would be great.

Well, I just played STALKER once, and I didn't had a great videocard, so I couldn't set video settings on "max"... then, one day, one of my friends get a new (and amazing) PC and there, I saw the game at "max", but it didn't surprised me what I saw...

Then I saw this. I swear, I will get a new videocard just to play this mod on "max" and enjoy enviromental enhancement, graphical enhancements, texture work, etc. This is really awesome, congratulations, and keep this up! amazing work!

Love the detail put into the textures in this mod. I have two questions though, Is the Binocular zoom supposed to be blank and just the camera zooming in? Also, I have problems with Clear Sky members textures looking black on DirectX 10 lighting, anyway to fix it?

Yes, Yes, they are not compatible.
If this is your first walktrought, I really recommend you the complete mod. Reloaded add somes hardcore elements.

while walking around (all sliders maxed out sept for AA\ dx10.1\ beta version) i have what looks like a 30 foot tall shadow that extends about 25 yards in front of me. it is pretty obnoxious. even rocks can only sometimes appear when i get about 25 feet from them.
any i ideas? something i can modify in the user.ltx file to extend this shadowing\rendering further out or something???
