Hello everybody. I'm Steel. In this thread, I'll post any updates and releases regarding the "New Weapons Add-on" for SC09 v1.4.3.

"New Weapons Add-on for STALKER Complete 2009 v1.4.3"

Description:

"This is a merge of some weapons the SC09 users were asking for. I (Steel)
have worked very hard for a long time to got these results. These weapons were
tested before the release to avoid post-release bugs."

The following weapons were added to the game
:

- Sawn-off TOZ-34
- BM16
- TOZ-34 (Restored)
- Mosin Nagant M1891-30 (w/ Scope and w/o Scope)
- Sturm Ruger GP-100
- PP-19 "Bizon"
- Beretta 92FS (Restored)

To mantain the balance of the game, we decided to sell two weapons per trader.
This is the list
:

- Barkeep: Sawn-off TOZ-34 and BM16
- Siderovich: TOZ-34 and Beretta 92FS
- Freedom Trader: PP-19 "Bizon" and Mosin Nagant M1891-30 (w/o Scope)
- Duty Trader: Sturm Ruger GP-100 and Mosin Nagant M1891-30 (w/ Scope)

The following weapons use new ammo:

- BM16
- Sturm Ruger GP-100

You can get it from their respective traders.

Since this is our fist work for New Weapons, the only person who can use these
weapons is Marked One. The NPCs don't carry new weapons or new ammo. The only
way to get it is buying them. We'll try to get it working on following versions.

Regarding release: This add-on will be released before the end of this month. We don't have an exact date; We can only provide that info.

Regarding Arsenal Weapons: They wil be also added. The list is the following:

- CZ-52
- AK-47
- Steyr AUG A1 (AUG-77)
- HK XM8
- FAMAS F1
- HK416
- PPD-40
- PPSh-41
- RPK-74

But since they're more and Arsenal Mod have a lot of files, those weapons will be ready on the next version. We don't know when this version will be released. Also, new weapons will be added. We'll select a list of weapons, and we'll make a poll, and the weapons with more votes will be added in the next version.

We have some Features regarding the release of the add-on; Not revealing anything this time to keep the people excited about the release of the add-on. Also, we're not providing Screenshots to keep all in secret; REMEMBER: The wait will worth it.

Regarding SC Realistic Weapons Add-on
: We already have a patch for those people who wants to have a Realistic Gameplay with New Weapons.

Hi there, I'm an italian stalker and I love the atmosphere of "Complete 2009". Thank you, Steel, for your hard work on this add-on!
Will there be an international localization for this add-on too? You could post any weapon's description on this forum, so we (SC 2009's community) can perhaps help to translate them.

Hey there! It's nice to see the first reply. Yeah, SC09 is a totally brand-new experience.. so atmospheric, it's just incredible!
There's no need to thank me... Thank yourselves, SC09 players, because this add-on couldn't exist without you! I mean, I know you've praised this mod and you want it to do it better by adding new weapons.

Of course there will be an Internation adaptation for this add-on. Like with the first adaptation, we'll post the descriptions of the new weapons here and you will be able to translate 'em to your language, and probably, we'll add the new descriptions to the Internation Patch (Refer to: Tinyurl.com) so you only need to download one file.

I'll add the descriptions to the Main Thread ASAP. Probably, at first hour of the morning tomorrow.

Uhm... I'm going a little bit OT but... what about creating a web-space or a dedicated Forum for some discussion about SC 2009's development? A place where we can post our ideas and advices to partecipate in this grat mod. Or does it exist yet? Thx in advance!

Hey there! Well, about the weapon you're talking about:

That weapon comes from the Arsenal. We'll be implementing Arsenal Weapons to the add-on but not this time.

G11(would be interessting)

PP-19 Bison
Remington 870
PSG 1
UMP
MAC 10
M14
M249 Mini or/and M60
Steyr ACR 
That would improve upon the lack of good MP's and SMG's in the game.
Also you could make different typs of weapon add ons, like a lasersight for AR, front grips, or a tactical shotgun, instead of the grenadelauncher.
Also Thermooptic or heatseaking visors would be possible. A greater varity of silencers, with differences in the silencing and the effect on the weapons range could also be done.
I know that would be much work, but you already have done a great job with the other rifles, so i guess that is not real trial for you.

Hello er'body! Well, to be honest, a lot of weapons you named can't be found on other mods, so I doubt I can do something. I just re-enabled the ability to attach addons to weapons that have blocked that possibility.

Latest update regarding the Addon: Will be fully-compatible with v1.4.3 and with Realistic Weapons Add-on v0.6. I'll release it today, or on weekend!

Hello Steel,,
I REALLY appreciate and like SC09 mod, it's the best!
But i fear you have some competition comin' up, L.U.R.K., it seems like a very nice mod to.. 
So i have 2 suggestions (I think will improve and hold SC09 on the first place) that could be usefull.:

1)  Put some other weapons in it, new basic weapons (f.e.)
- P90
- M4A1/M16 Tactical
- PSG-1 
- Scar-H
- MP5
- TMP
- XM8 Baseline Carbine (Compact for SMG version, or the Sharpshooter variant)

2) When you have weapons you can like modifie them. (upgrade them)
Like in the L.U.R.K. mod, so you can modifie the ammo capacity, accurie, firing rate etc,...

That would be THE MAX is you can do that.
And again, just sugjesting ;)

Hi!

Really a good Mod! My compliments! But i think it lacks few more weapons and something usefull like, you know, use pistols and SMG/short weapons in the first slot.
Anyway i like it so much! Teleport option is very usefull!! Whole gameplay benefit from this mod's features ;)
But, please, give us some news/update...it's so demoralizing :S Thanks!!

Yes, in the new weapons addon please make an inventory fix so the player can carry a heavy weapon in each slot (i.e. one rifle+one shotgun, one shotgun+one grenade launcher, etc.), like in Call of Pripyat.

The game is not designed to hold 150 guns, stuff like this kills any sort of purpose, the reason why Complete gets such a good reception is because it's the most normal mod out of all and it doesn't try to be everything at once.
