One zone, one weather
- No need for new game.
- If you're preparing the new weather settings for the first time, its better to reload your game afterwards
- Compatible with everything (as long as the weather scripts are untouched).
- If you use S.W.T.C. then it should be installed before this mod
- This add-on is available for:

- Call of Misery
- Last Day
Honestly, i'm not fan with the weather-per-level system. Not only it doesn't make sense and break immersion, but also setting the weather for each map can be tiresome.
This add-on introduce global weather system across the entire zone. You will no longer encounter that moment when you move from one map to another to find out that the weather has changed suddenly from sunny to stormy.
Instead of controlling the weather per map, now you can control the type of weather itself by the new weather menu.
- 6 weather types, 2 controls for each one: period and occurrence.
- Period: range from 3 up to 12 hours
- Occurrence: determine the rarity of the weather:
- Regular (common)
- Rare: it'll happen soon or later, but not as quite as often
- None: possibility = zero

Fixed infinite weather bug (new game is preferred)
- Restored old option of loading default atmosfear settings (credits for av661194)

- Fixed the infinite weather bug, caused by sleeping skips the next weather cycle time which leads the current weather to stuck (weather change will be forced after few hours if there's something wrong with period readings in general)

Yeah that's known bug, it also happen sometimes when you load a save.
unfortunately the whole rain thing is hardcoded in the engine so i can't fix that.

I'm playing 1.3 too, and the weather did not change a bit even after 2 days (in the game ofc), does weather change in your game? I tried to set "rainy" weather type to "none" appearance, and yet, it is still raining. Kinda weird.
I guess I have to add that after disabling the mod in the Generic Mod Enabler, I get fatal errors on all of my savings I made while it was enabled. Thank god it was only about an hour. Any idea?
m8, the new patch (2.1) fix the problem. just play normally and it will go.

Thanks for your repy, sadly it definetly was the 2.1 version. I doubt the responsible was your mod tho....I think 1.3 is just too unstable to be compatible with smtn like this.

Hey the raining wont stop ive waited full 12 ingame hours in one place, changed many levels and also sleep for 24 hours eventho ive already changed the settings to 3 hours of rain. Is there any way to fix this and how to manually reinstall it? sorry im still a noob at modding, thnx in advance
I've had the same problem. Non stop storms in my game. Waited hours and hours and changed many levels.
delete those files:
(gamedata\configs\atmosfear_default_settings)

(gamedata\scrips\level_weathers)
(gamedata\scrips\atmosfear_options)
This will be enough to uninstall the addon
Let me know if removing it will fix the issue

Edit: just loaded the problem save and the sun is shining. It had been stormy when I saved so seems the problem is fixed. Will try changing levels and stuff.

Same here. Loading a save that used V2.1 but without the mod installed causes the game to crash. That's a whole lot of progress I lost, but, such is life in the zone.
Edit: Exact same error as well.
It says this works with LD, so...will it also work with the old 1.3 LD version?

does that have a deeper meaning that the weather does not change anymore? I turned everything off, actually there should only be sunshine, I've only had storm and fog for 3 hours, even a new savegame did not change anything
turning everything to (none) will make the game act as if its all set on (regular), so don't do it.
Now about your issue, can you be more specific. Like what is the last weather you stuck into and for how long?
Have you tried to sleep to see if it changed later on?
The last weather was sunshine, now for 15 days through away only had rain, emissions only by zone change
I left sunny weather on regular, with storms and rain on rare. The rest is set to off, as I hate fog, but now the fog never goes away :/. Any ideas?

Alright guys, since the infinite weather bug exists i suggest you to stay away from the mod for the current time.

It works, except for the fact that you have to start a new game for it to take effect, otherwise weather stays frozen :(

That shouldn't happen, it will automatically switch to different weather later on.
Have you tried playing for a bit at least?
Tried changing areas, skipping time, reloading saves etc...
But it doesn't seem to unfreeze it. Maybe I was being a little impatient, I'll let you know on later
DON'T:
- Switch maps, because the whole point of the addon is to keep the weather cycle goes on between all maps, its time related only.
- Skip time by sleeping cause weather don't change immediately, it happen through stages.
You wanna do a little test? open (configs/alife.ltx) file and set time factor to 100, this will make the in-game time x10 faster. load your save and watch the time and weather.
Report to me if that worked, don't forget to restore the time factor to 10 after finish testing.
