StarShip Troopers : Last Defense is a free 3D RTS game using the Glest engine, it is set in the StarShip Troopers Universe and will have many original and creative features.
Story:
You are Commander Jenkins, born on planet Earth 2007. The year now 2047, and it is your turn to get revenge on the bugs.
History:
Space travel became a reality in the year 2010 and Earth spread out far and wide and populated every planet it found. People did not believe in another life form but they were wrong to. The bugs retreated back from the Humans, building up their forces and waiting to strike.

Hello! Today we have something extra for you guys, a BETA release! Finally you can download the installer, I would like you to remember this is only a BETA release and already we are working to fix them. One thing we would like you to remember is that when exiting the game wait a minuet because the game can crash, taking you system with it.
Anyway with the good news, this contains everything we have been working on and any comments you have will be greatly appreciated, also if you can post them on the Forums that would be great!

I don't know if this has been said before but wouldn't it be great if you can duplicate the emmersive experience of 'Company of Heroes'.
Anyways, like whats happening here, hope to see more progress, especially some ingame screens.

Don't listen to Werewulf hes just a poopy head. Keep up the work :) its the thought that counts and the ending version too. :} Theres always time for improvement no matter what you do. First release doesn't mean its always going to be great, but like I said always time for improvements and updates. :D Keep going team!

and it looks like that arachnid thing was the one from turbosquid.
Why don't you mod the Spring engine? (www.ta-spring.com). Full 3d, open-source, and the devs are still adding features. It has a large community who would be happy to help!
When you say Starship Troopers universe, WHICH SST universe are you refering to? The Film or the Novel?
I want my captroopers. :(

Just use a free game engine. Also I am going to look forward to this mod because it will bring back memorys of the SST maps in Starcraft with all thouse damn zerglings!
