Remarkably great level design and atmosphere. Also loved the mind **** plot, although I wish there was a bit more plot parts to it.

I have played this mod this weekend and i loved it. In the beginning there was a little bit to less fire fights with enemies for my taste. But this was only in the very beginning because quit quick after that all heel broke loose, in a nice way, lol.

It is quit long, not one of those very small mods that you play in 20 mins. All in all i really can't remember anything bad about it. Just one small comment, the trees in the skybox could have been made better. Because those really do look a little bit bad. I guess you use one of the large skybox mountain tree models, or made the trees yourself through displacements. Thing is, specially in the end you are quit close to them and then you clearly can see that the trees on the rocks are flat like a sprite.

But this is just a small remark of mine, maybe i am a mapper myself that i did notice this. Other then that, really well done. Was a pleasure to spent a few hours in your imaginary world, and kill some enemies!!

a fellow modder,

Very great mod, well done, bug free and very well thought of. (multi-path mapping, yay!)

But I myself in my opinion can't really immerse into a game/mod that has no storyline, I got the conclusion that I'm a test subject (no. 1 subject, +1 :P) on an island that is shrouded in a sphere that can't be seen from outside, great detail that you could see it in the sky.

But it didn't raise questions, it felt to me like a blank game with just a few easter-egg'ish details of why I'm in there and what place it is.

Also very short, but even valve can't get it long if it is many years in development.

See i have a love hate relationship with valve.

1. Love they put so much faith in the modding community when things like THIS get released, because it shows that high quality gripping content id normally pay for, for free!

2. Hate that they are a group of buttholes that will never release episode 3.

If there's anything important to understand about Valve, it's that they work and rework concepts/technologies/their games until it's great, not just good. By the time episode 2 was released, Source was already dated and even Source '07 was the same old dog pulling slight variations of the same old tricks. Rome wasn't built in a day, good things come to those who wait, ect.
