SpecialForces is a fast paced first person shooter with conventional weapons. The concept is based on a Special Forces team fighting against an armed streetgang/terrorist rival. There will be two gametypes in the first beta. Round based Team deathmatch and an objective based gametype. It is my intention to have real time damage to the player models and physics in the maps. The objective gametype will have vehicles, stationary weapons and destructable environments.

I'm working towards an alpha release with 2 maps. This will be a test for the weapons,movement and general feedback while I tweak and make more maps and weapons. So its difficult to give a date, but you can see I'm getting close to the alpha testing.

It's going quite well atm thanks. Busy making maps and testing code. Characters and weapons are working and I'm testing effects for the nades.

Thanks, it take time to get everything in place but I'm going for content thats textured and ready for the game, instead of the usual clay models in a 3d program.

Inaccurate weapons? In most games of any type, it depends on the user using the weapons which decides if its accurate or not. unless your just referring to spazzy weapons such as machine pistols or shotguns.
