This mod idea was inspired by Titan A.E. a movie i watched as a kid and I was watching it with my son.
Here is what i have so far...
The player will be able to select a race they wish to be, and what organization/empire/society they work for (each having its own morals and objectives).
Every player starts off as low ranked crew member, and they then decide what skills they wish to improve on which will then reflect on what position/team they are best suited for, such as engineering, security, medical etc..
They then also get assigned to a ship of which they then begin their careers on. Actions the player takes depends on how quick the go through the ranks. Of course, a player needs to decide on either improving his/hers skills in one area, or all areas... they can also decide to slow down in the ranks, and instead work on the skills (as lower ranks have more time to themselves).
Players will also be using the computers on the ship to navigate, see, target etc etc... so a player would walk up to a console and then have the option to use it.
Anyway, that's the idea I have been throwing around my head recently.
I am currently looking for help on making this mod for anyone with ideas for
-Races
-Orginizations ( the different factions like Swadia and the Nords)
-Planets surface
-weapons
-etc
Basicly anything you have in ways of ideas would help

Neat, what I personally would like is a star wars mod (like galaxy at war for warband). It sounds like it doesn't fit the game, but really, the RPG aspects of warband combined with the great story of star wars is great! The possibilities are endless; I led an army of stormtroopers up against jabba the hutt and captured him, then used the ransom money to build a cloning facility and make a clone army for my faction which i led against the Hutts and the Rebels. It's really fun.
I think he just means for a more general sci-fi mod.
