Is it possible to load saves that you had before you had the mod installed? I hope so, because I have a game that's gone on for 8 hours so far, and my dad REALLY doesn't want his saves to go invalid...

Any chance of new screenies and video for 1.0? And how compatible is this mod with other mods/multiplayer? I really don't want to have to swap out folders if I want to play a mod. Also, let some people at the Sins forums know about this mod. DANMAN might want this for his 7 Deadly Sins mod, and Lost_WLD might like some competition for graphical enhancement mods.

Really good mod! i might suggest that you change the phase jump graphics, though. I personally think that the original looked better.

Do you have the latest update for your Sins? Because the updates add's new folder's for mods and stuff unlike the retail version 1.0 it just has the basic files. The update add's new sound updates bug fixs and folders. If you don't know were to get it click update on your start launcher before you start the game. If that dosen't work go to (http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/sinsofasolarempire/download_6189089.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=files&tag=files;title;1) Without quotations.

Try doing a search for your "Sins of a Solar Empire" folder. (In Windows XP, for example, click start, then search, then "all files or folders", then type in "Sins of a Solar Empire" and click search.) This should show you where your copy of the game is installed. It's probably somewhere in Program Files.

Once you have found that folder, you can install SolarFlair by copying the "Sins of the Solar Empire" folder that came in the install directory of the mod into the same place as the "Sins of a Solar Empire" folder you just found by searching. If you're putting it in the right place, windows will ask if you want to overwrite the existing files. You should click "yes to all" then.

Does this help?

It's okay, you don't need to find the "TotalGaming" directory, you just need to find your "Sins of a Solar Empire" folder. If you can't find that by searching, try taking a look at the shortcut you use to launch the game. Right click on that shortcut and click "properties." The "target" line of the window that appears should tell you where to find your installation of SoaSE.

Did that work for you?
