is this mod going to be updated to work with the 1.1 patch or will already work with the 1.1 patch for sins of solar empire
It probably already works with 1.1.
I didn't find a "Total Gaming" directory, so I just copied the folder over my old "Sins of a Solar Empire" folder. Windows didn't ask me to replace any files, and when I started the game, nothing looked any different. Did I do anything wrong, and if not, what differences should I notice when playing the game?
If it wasn't already amazing enough that the original games graphics didn't lag, let's push it a bit farther.
Have you realesed any other versions of 1.0? By that I mean, have you updated the 1.0 a bit more? I d'led the 1.0 a month or two ago and am just wondering if anything new has been added. Thanks. Love the mod though, 10/10, makes it much flashier and nicer.
can you make this mod installing like the other by extracting it in the "mods" directory? it should be easier to use. but it's still a good mod
Quick question: If I download this mod, follow everything to the letter and install it correctly, and then decide I like the old game much better, can I revert back to it without glitches or nasty side-effects? I'm relatively new to modding, so I don't know...
third battle was awesome. in black skies (space) these effects lok very nice. and that battalias haos... great.
Why the hell didnt you just use the Unzip to mod folder + activate method?
having to manually overwrite your files is painfully un-neccesary and annoying.
Probably because that makes it incompatible with other mods. This method allows other mods to use his updated effects which use the vanilla versions. Read the docs that come with the mod, that should have clued you in.
