YOUTUBE POLICY FAQ
Q: Can I upload a video of your mod/game to YouTube?
A: Yes, of course! BUT, you MUST include a link to the mod's or game's Mod DB or Indie DB page in the description!
Q: Can the video include commentary?
A: Definitely! In fact, we encourage and greatly appreciate commentary!
Q: Can I monetize the video?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I overlay my own music over the mod's footage?
A: Yes, but ONLY if you mute the in-game music.
NOTE: We also STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you add to the video a tag for the name of the mod/game, e.g., "Mass Effect Unification", or "Sol Map Pack", or "Indoctra".
Please let us know in the comments below if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
hello. i'm from russia and your mod very interesting to me. can i be tester for your mod ? )
1) This isn't the right place to ask that, and 2) which mod?
mod The clone wars )
Unfortunately we're not currently accepting new testers at this time. If and once we do begin asking for testers, we'll post an official announcement on Mod DB and social media sites.
This mod has been giving me blue balls for several years now. I am so ***** I could explode and flood the entire planet in the slimy results.
Well obviously we can upload your mod to youtube, you don't own the game. This is just clickbait.
Indeed. However years ago we used to get lots PMs and comments from people asking if they could upload videos of our mods to YouTube, so we released this article saying they could. :)
