Socialist Tension is a Single player Half-Life 2 mod, where you are in the role of a Contract killer, who was sent to City 17 for his next assignment. His client, one of the citizens of City 17 wants you to assassinate Dr. Breen and put an end to his domination. But he doesn't know that the "death" of Dr. Breen will lead to tragic consequences and thus your only hope is to get out of City 17 as soon as fast. Good luck.

The mod only adds some new maps, there aren't any weapon/NPC changes.

dead mod?
Yes-but first you need to wander around and find the right apartment to get your suit on. I thought this was a real good mod. I liked the puzzles and the overall look of it. It looked like the world of Half Life instead of some half baked conversion. This was solid and I hope you keep making them, just longer. thanks for a well done job-
Several good twists and ideas, but the mod lacked in general quality and story wise very poor in its presentation. Still it was fun to play and killing Dr.Breen was indeed sweet. When you open that hatch I was totally confused, what’a’hell?! Am I in water? My god, swim for you life! Great stuff. The last battle was also okey, like an end level boss hehe. Keep it up man!
Several times I wasn't sure what to do next, but that is common HL gameplay. However, I am on that damn tiny boat at what I now hope is the end of the mod, because I have been killed over and over simply by getting stuck in the scenery. I get tangled in, can't move, get killed. Terrible. And the ammo is placed in the easiest place to get stuck... Just awful.
