A mod wich will be based on snipers of WW2.
Weapons/item: Great scale of sniper rifles, some pistols and a lighter to light up dark spots a bit.
maps: forests, city's/villages and large open fields.
You will be able too customize your whole sniper rifle like:
adding a camo blanket, or changing of scopes... you will also be able to open and close your scope incase of the reflection of the sun.
This mod will be a fully modification of half life 2.
Rifles will include the Kar98, Enfield, Mosin nagant, Springfield and some other more rare rifles.
Pistols: P38, colt and more rare ones.

Sorry for bringing false hope to our public, I really liked it to work out too, but we just simply can't go any further from now on.
Thanks for all the positive feedback and the support though. It was a project with potential and I am glad almost everyone agreed on that.

sorry for double post but I think it would be great to add the sitting position into the game. I know from experience that the sitting position is better than the crouched (although much less maneuverable).
edit: also, by "private beta" you are talking about getting beta testers for closed testing right?

the maximum ammount of players on one server will be around 12, because we agree with you that a whole army of snipers will ruin the stealth/hunting approach that we want to deliver.
About the sitting position, interesting idea. We will discuss it in the team.
Private beta is only for the beta testers and developers, but the public beta will possibly be released shortly after that (if we don't need to adjust a lot of code).

Good to hear that it's almost done, would be nice to see some more media (animations, in game footage, even weapon sounds) if it is really that far in the development process.

edit: Since it is a sniper mod, will there be a low limit of players per server? would be weird to have 24 snipers on one map.
