The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.

Glad to see the little guy finally get a scope :) Now, pretty please give us lots of scopes to choose from? It's always so fun to find a cool new gadget to use, and scopes are no exception! Blue ones, red ones, ones with digits and doodles, ones with sleek designs and ones with infrared vision...
there will be plenty of different scopes (i.e. 8 different types of ACOG sights) to chose from.
Hopefully the ACOG scopes can fit onto the Soviet/Russian made weapons too. They are from the Cobra family of ACOG Scopes or something, or was that from the red dot site family.

There was an AKSU with Cobra sight in .41 as well but this is indeed Snag's special AKS-47u from the container, it was first introduced as part of the weapons addon.
One thing I might ask, and indeed this in no way is meant as anything else but constructive criticism. How are the load times? Many mods I see with many new levels added have ridiculously long load times, an example of this being STALKERSOUP for Shadow of Chernobyl, it had around 1 minute waits for quicksaves, despite it being on my gaming computer with incredibly powerful hardware.
i believe the more memory cache needed the longer your going to have to wait? its just a characteristic of COP mega mods. im surprised that its happening to quicksaves, only happens to me when loading the game the first time.... takes well over a minute.
try a fresh install of the game or deleting your user.ltx, maybe having conflict with past mods or .ltx tweaks?
someone more educated with this engine could help you out with the long quicksave load times? i personally dont usually trust quick saves with cop... few extra seconds to create a save:)

load times depend on how much stuff is placed on a map, size of the map and how many textures need to be loaded, it's also heavily affected by what lighting render mode is used. In your case it sounds more like a driver issue though.
The load times in smrter are all within reason, most of the new levels even load faster than the vanilla ones, but then again they're not finished yet.
