The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.
Unless you after that glow in dark effect.
Cleans the skin right off.
oh shi...tell me that dude did not get burnt to death with that green stuff and lol did that buss melt in there? also i like how the ground texture looks.
You don't say?
That body... Just like in art? Like in that amazing art of Clear Sky from GSC, man?!
yes, this one: Firstpersonshooters.net
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah!!!
This is great! Pretty good idea!
Really nice, but the way the corpse is position is a bit.. meh to say the truth, but thats really the less of my concenrs :D
imo the position of the corpse is perfect, the melted legs stretched towards the pond, the arms angled as if someone had tried to pull him out then realized it was too late, the crisp decomposed body melted to a solid form by the acid...
It looks like a board/plank, pulling someone out of a pool wouldn't be that strait, since there's alot more chanses you will tilt the body to either side, leaving either the limbs or the body twisted slightly, specially the head would be fallen to the side, reason i commented on that.
Personally it doesn't bother me, was just a note :P not to start a discussion really ^^
it's straight because the body melted away on the way out ;) And I like to discuss :P
The melted down bus is ******* awsome. But IMHO the fences and the post doesn't look pretty good as if they were affected by corrosion, looks more like if they were overheated a bit and it's own weight pulled down. The corpse has too long legs and it's texture makes us the idea as if it was burned. In any way, amazing job, love to see this kind of stuff.
the legs are so long because they are melted, and the fence is bent due to long time exposure to the acidic fumes coming from the pond.
But I believe that if acid touches human skin it makes a burn wound, it doesn't melt it and acid interacting with metal I believe it's gonna eat it away, not melt it down. I'm not trying to flame your work, it's just that there are some things here that I don't think they seem right.
the scene is an exact reenactment of GSC's concept art I posted earlier in reply to BioShocker. The acid doesn't bend the fence, gravity does after the acid has weakened it's structure. Same for the legs. And the body is crisp btw, and definately looks burned.
Don't want to be smart *** but I must say.,
ACIDS make burns dry damage they coagulate proteins just like in DAS BOOT movie when that leutnant adds milk to lemon ''Uboot Coctail'':D .
But ALKALI are melting proteins and stuff. It makes ''wet'' wounds.
So this pond could be some ALKANOMALY POND :D.
bath if u want green skin......
maybe I should create some kind of hulk mutant for this location :P
It reminds me of my Half-Life source days. When Gordon fell into the green Hazardous waste and dies like this poor stalker. Its probably no coincidence that they used the dead Gordon in SOC at the wild territory level. Seeing as how these two worlds/games are connected to each other, in a parallel universe! :P Aaa, Happy days. :) Nice work smrtphoneusr.
