Description

Here is a different module of SkyFi, this can be used with or without the main SkyFi mod and the only reason it is separate is because it isn't technically Science Fiction. The books apparently are but everything about them are fantasy. The current version is the first to have something more than a simple weapon and armour so I thought I should post it here, the reception of the mod on Nexus was less than welcoming to say the least. The main reason of course being that the immature children over there thought the Agiel was meant to be a sex toy, any idiot can read a description and see that it is not. Currently you can find a Mord Sith Temple on the map with Mord Sith NPC's including a Mistress Denna companion, they have both red and white sets of gear and can be killed without penalty, I do plan on adding quests and such for this including one which you track down young girls to become Mord Sith. Plenty more to come for this one!

Great idea. I love Legend of the Seeker! Are You planning to add "campaign" with story from books?

Not at the moment, I would like to but its a very long story and I wouldn't know where to begin on how to do it in Skyrim, I only plan to have a few factions and their gear in Skyrim while placing places like the Temple currently in. Not even sure what others I want in other than Screelings, Sisters of the Light and Dark, Confessors (yes they will confess), banelings and some others which are undecided. I have only made it half way through the second book so still got a lot more to see yet and the list of things to do will grow with what I read.

Then you have a conflict with another mod. Or you are using a version lower than 1.4.27 which the mod was made for, 1.5 update should work fine.

Edit: If you are using Nexus Mod Manager then it may have Skyrim.esm in grey, this means it isnt actually ticked, I have this problem often and fix it using Wrye Bash to tick the file, it may also be fixed in Skyrim Launcher but I havent tried it.

Really wish you would repost this on the nexus, being that the only thing related to The Legend of the Seeker is the sword. the reason I am saying this is because i like how the NMM tells me when there is a new version of a mod out. Otherwise, Awesome mod! :)

Mod is being started from scratch, I am spending around 75% of time on Skyfi and 25% of time on SOT, once I finish the Stargate part of SkyFi I will spend a lot more time on SOT. I have gotten unofficial permission from Terry Goodkind to re-create the New and Old worlds during the Great War, will explain more in the next news post.

which version of the Sword or Truth will you add to the mod the books version where it is a plain looking sword with a wire-wraped hilt with the word truth spelled in the wire or the horrible tv show version.

The book version, it is referenced to so often that he feels the words written in wire against his hand that it would be stupid to change it. The TV show version of anything is only added if there is either little difference or if there isn't enough description in the books to judge whether or not it would be accurate. In some cases where there is no visual reference or enough description of something then I will either make it up or ask Terry Goodkind.

That mod is the exact same as this one (I only recently updated the files to match). If you had spent about 5 minutes looking on Google you probably would have found that the reason it crashes is that there is a mod conflict. Meaning something else is probably changing the same location the temple in this is, I cannot remember where that is and I have been rebuilding this mod again so as to remove the issues this version sometimes has for people (invisible temple, etc).

Although there was absolutely no reason to re-install your operating system because a mod wasn't working. Simply removing the mod would have fixed it (if not then it wasn't this mod). Considering you have said you ran it on vanilla skyrim with a new game, I can only presume you were trying to run it on an older version of Skyrim that this mod was created on, in which case you either disabled Steam updates (very silly thing to do) or pirated the game. Maybe create a ModDB account and give me more information than 'the game crashed' and I'll look into it further.

By more information I mean:
-Operating System (32 or 64 bit)
-Version of Skyrim
-Steps you took to install (have you tried a mod manager?)
-EXACTLY where it crashes (Before the main menu? In a loading screen? While walking to the location?)
-Any error messages or simply CTD (Crash To Desktop)

I have no idea how technically capable you are so I am sorry if any of these questions is too complicated or if they sound patronizing, but going by you having to re-install Windows I can only assume you have a relatively basic knowledge of computers.
