Situation Outbreak is an Orange Box mod about the impending zombie apocalypse. Armed with nothing but a 9mm and a pair of brass knuckles, you must do whatever it takes to survive against the thousands of zombies that used to be your friends and neighbors. The cost of failure is nothing less than your free will. There are no heroes. No single person can save the world and there are not enough bullets to go around. The only thing left to do is to kill the damned, hoping that you don’t end up like them.

Presenting the most powerful weapon in all of Situation Outbreak: the AS50. It's also the most expensive and exclusively for the Military team. You can expect to see this bad boy in v1.60's Extermination gamemode. =)

and this is better than a barret anyways. does more damage with the same bullet - and its semi-auto but keeps intense accuracy.
the M200 would be even better ^^ but it doesnt match situation outbreak.
of course is better, could kill a player at level 3 with one shot
man he dosent know how to use that the kick back would rip his arm off:p then ill use his arm armor :P

Ironsights. They're accurate though. With all that power, it'd be totally cheap to have a scope on this epic piece of ****. >=D

Yup. Of course, we obtained permission to use the model and I did the animations and compiling job.
I ******* loved this gun in FarCry 2. When I had it that is, just hearing the magazine slide out and in then the bolt gets pulled back... memories.

so what teams are their? just military and infected right? or am i wrong and if so will the other human team get a special weapon as well?
Here's the scoop on the Extermination gamemode:
There are two factions: the survivors and the military, each player-controlled. They go head-to-head on the battlefield and while they are fighting, they will encounter zombie NPCs. It is a sort of survivors vs. military vs. zombies scenario except that the zombies are NPC-controlled.
CS:S with zombies if that helps you understand what's going on here. =P
The Survivors will have the sniper they've always had while the Military will have the AS50.

Military should also get the M9 Barreta or Springfield XD
Again, we don't really have the resources to make much of that happen right now. Our modeling and texturing team is still away working on other projects. Hopefully they'll return, or else I'm going to have to start looking for people to fill their places.
