Yeah, took me a while to fix some transparency issues with the nebulae and 'clouds'.
If I can just fix the seams then I'll have perfect freelancer skyboxes. I'll then be able to make pretty accurate freelancer based maps.
Is the map a cube map or sphere map? I'm assuming it's a sphere based texture given how the seams don't match up. Pretty sure Sins uses cube map projection.
It's sphere map, but freelancer had these weird 'caps' that went on the top and bottom. The engine must have had a way of blending them in or something.
I managed to import the Liberty Skybox (the central liberty one) and it works pretty well. However there are seam issues on the top and bottom... must see if I can fix it.
Deju Vu, hope you can get the seam issue fixed. For a moment there I thought you'd posted screens of freelancer.....

Yeah you have to convert it to sins format. I tried playing around with planets a while ago but it was a real hassle.
good luck to you, hope you can get it down.
I'm playing freelancer again cause x rebirth sucked so bad
