While the TEC, Advent and Vasari are embroiled in their own struggles for survival a new threat has emerged, intent on spreading it's infectious plague throughout the universe. The sickening ruthlessness in which entire populations are infected or destroyed is alarming to the TEC, Advent and Vasari alike. If the Plague wasn't enough they were immediately followed yet another race calling themselves the Nephilim. The initial encounter with the "Nephilim" held promise they would unite in defeating the Plague. However, Initial attempts at diplomacy have failed as the Nephilim seem single purposed in their pursuit of the Plague.
Not sure if it will run properly on other people's computers, but it's a nifty way for me to enable/disable parts of SotF. The in-game editor just is not fun to use ;)
This could come in real handy, the only question I have, is how does it determine which main screen to use? Its usually the faction first in the load order, but how does that work with tickboxes?
Also what are the Addon Disable AI+ and Embassy boxes?
This will make playing with friends much easier if you release it :p
Your correct in that the load order for the theme will be impacted, but it doesn't stop you from editing the generated EnabledMods.txt.
Disable AI+ just cuts out some of the enhancements I give the AI to make it more formidable. It's not super crazy stuff but it does give it some advantage. Especially higher level AI as it prompts them to research more techs.
Embassy is a new feature I'm working on that eventually will gift things like capital ships and support fleets as you reach certain relationships.
sounds interesting, keep up the good work
Figured out how to generate the file to the right directory :)
Oh that's awesome! I need that so much. It's going to make my life soooooo much easier!
It's.....just...so...beautiful......
Thanks my venture back to C++ hasn't been completely unpleasant after all. I haven't touched it really since the 90's ;)
Thinking about making an overall mod manager for Sins that will let you activate all the popular mods via a neat picture of the mod.
Most people that play sins mods play several. The concept would be simple by switching between already saved enabled mods before starting the game.
That would be great, its kind of what I was asking for in the new launcher they added recently lol
