While the TEC, Advent and Vasari are embroiled in their own struggles for survival a new threat has emerged, intent on spreading it's infectious plague throughout the universe. The sickening ruthlessness in which entire populations are infected or destroyed is alarming to the TEC, Advent and Vasari alike. If the Plague wasn't enough they were immediately followed yet another race calling themselves the Nephilim. The initial encounter with the "Nephilim" held promise they would unite in defeating the Plague. However, Initial attempts at diplomacy have failed as the Nephilim seem single purposed in their pursuit of the Plague.
I wanted to add a third race when I started the mod, but it is very time consuming to come up with new ideas and models. Thankfully, one of the sins of the fallen moddelers (gundammodfan) has come through yet again with some really cool looking models. My original thoughts where either a cyborg or human race as the third addon race. I'm weighing the options please chime in if you have any preferences.
this is the Fortress, which if possible will be able to act like mobile command ship. which means it can phrase jump , which we will make one for other races if me and zombie agree on it. there be a limit of olny one at time, if destoryed, will be built from the cap center ( it will be much much bigger lol )
Hi gundammodfan, I hadn't had a chance to go over this yet with you, but unfortunately capital ships don't work with the highlander approach ("There can be only one!"). I've explored this with my Flagship mini-mod and maelstrom has explored it with his Dreadnaughts. There isn't really a good way to have a single type of ship that can be rebuilt when it's destroyed. I do like the idea though of fortress type ships and was thinking of something similar which I might try as an extension to the flagship mini-mod.
alright when u get back we talk about it, thna we gotta figure out how to make like 4 more different fortresses than.
