Was going to go with 9... But bumped it to 10 to counter some of the ridiculous low scores.
Played this mod for a long time, on and off, now. Back again, and as the update is due to break any day now, keep checking back.
The thing I love most is how the factions feel to play. Each comes across pretty much spot on what I'd expect they should, and carries on to how best to play each against the others... For example, a Republic against CIS fight feels the way I think it should from the all the fluff, and handles completely different from a Rebellion vs Empire fight, which is something a lot of games don't quite get, with it being obvious for the sake of balance corners were cut (see Empire at War vanilla). Whilst that exists in the base Sins, it's carried across and improved in the mod. Even the rare or non-existent match ups feel right.
Ultimately, it's just fun to play, and keeps to the fluff well. Just what I want in a Star Wars game. (I take it to a bit of an extreme at times, and try to keep fleets in-game close to fluff for those that are known, using Wookiepedia and my copy of the Essential Guide to Warfare.)
