did you not read? This is not a patch, it is an addon pack. these pack adds stuff into the mod if you want it to.

No, he's right. Fleets of over a 1000 according to the end game data and graphs. This is by 25-30 mins mind you. I've played numerous games, Easy AI, and its all the same.

nice changes, although I was hoping for an increased range instead of decreased
if you combine the health,hyperspace and increased range it would make it more correct to the SW universe, I think

200% Health Boost, hyperspace modification, hyperspace anywhere, and victory class should be in the game, not as an addon, makes the battle duration more longer and implement the realism of hyperspace travel between systems.
Btw i was the one having lag issue with the last hotfix, all seems good now, this mod is amazing , very good job to you guys, the shield effects on capitals is insane, very well made!
Hope this mod never gonna stop with adding new stuff!
Just if you can answer on : how to check if LAA is activated and if there is a new hotfix do we have to delette the mod and paste it again to avoid bad old files and after that do we have to reactivate LAA again?

I wish you all a good continuation!

For LAA, the best way to check if it's on is to run the game's exe through Large Address Aware.exe a second time. If the little check box is checked off, you're good to go! If not, check it and hit save.

For hotfixes, you do not have to delete the mod; just extract the hotfix to your mod directory and select overwrite if prompted. LAA is also independent of the mod itself, so you shouldn't have to enable it again if you do it correctly the first time.

Rgr that thks for the answers, about the hotfix that was because i was using another version release the july 10 that got deleted yesterday remplaced by a whole new one same day, that's why i delette the mod to copy/paste it again.
Also id it possible to add more lights beneath the SSD? It seems very dark and for what i remember there are some lights here, same kind of the ones on the top of it.
Again +1000 for this mod! Keep up the good work!

Hey is there anyway to build the Supercap facility? In How to build a Super Capital it says that your capital always spawns with a Class 3 Drydock, uh three of my games don't have the Class 3's.

Please Release a Weaken AI for new Players. I can handle the regular Game on Hard, but even on Easy i get crushed after around 1 Hour into a Round.

I'll see if I can do something, but I cannot make any promises. There's a chance that if I try to make the AI any easier, I will break the AI and turn it into a brain dead slouch.

Well, sometimes the AI gets total crazy even on large. On a Small Random map, i had to Face 12 Capitals after 25 Minutes.

On Multiplayer 2on2 versus AI its even worse sometimes.

I've had a lot of problems with the AI as well. There isn't really much you can do against them when their fleet is more than twice the size of your own after 10-20 minutes.

Can you guys confirm whether you're using the latest hotfix or not? As pre-hotfix the AI was spammy as heck, but the hotfix helped address this.

Yea, used the newest Hotfix. It mostly occurs on Multiplayer versus AI.

Ah, if it's multiplayer that changes things entirely. Due to how ICO tries to get rid of lag, it randomly speeds up the game at times. Humans can't deal with this, however the AI does not notices that the game speed has changed at all, and as such is far better at resource/ship management during these moments. Your best bet in this case is to use something like Evolve or Hamachi to play through LAN, if this effect is being excessively problematic; your games will also be more stable as a bonus.

I've had this same exact issue, massive, massive fleets from Easy AI's. NOT multiplayer. Just me, vs. Bots. Or me and bots vs. other bots. Its really impossible actually, and noticeably so since the last update. Its really quite an awesome mod, amazing really, but its just gotten hard as hell, even on easy :(

I've been having the same issue. in fact I just had to quit a game due to a three hour long stalemate of a battle. The Ai just kept pouring in hundreds of ships, and the fighters to go with them. While I had a well defended shipyard planet. Lost my best caps in that fight.

even if you do it doesn't have to be to easy hun just enough where the AI doesn't Spam as many units as it does a friend and i we don't have that great of a PC and we barely Can play any big maps as is even with the Vanilla default version wich would allow us to play 50 planet worlds on medium with normal AI's even they would be a challenge to us but with this AI Spamming? thats been brought Down to a Small map size because of how much the AI Spamms building and often at times i'm Seeing their ships all the way up to Level 5 without even doing anything (even when i am in the system that they build these ships) which is another problem i and my friend do have LAA enabled and tried the reduced fighters because we thought that was the cause of it apparently as some one said its easy for the AI normal Easy or hard they constantly Spam ships like they have unlimited Resources to Spend including i think you or some one who programmed the ships interface to have 2.1m or so credits to level up your ships i say remove that and bring it back to the normal Vanilla version that allows you to upgrade it to atleast LEvel 4 Excluding the Super capitals (since you couldn't upgrade them with the vanilla version any way)

also Question for you when do we See the new Factions the old Republic/Sith? i'd love to see those two but i honestly don't want to tho i think you should also balance it a bit with the Vanilla Sins a bit atleast with the AI Spam.

any way i hope to see the old republic/sith soon both of them are my fave Era of the starwars franchise ohh that reminds me...

can yea look into the KOTOR that was made by Bioware/EA theirs a ship that i think his name was Kilran? not sure if i remember his name right he had a ship i'd love to see as the titan for the sith and i've seen a few tho one in particular that was in a survival mode for the republic that was just as deadly as the imperials SSD that the old republic in that era made i'd love to see these two ships i'll see about posting the name for you to look up for them i just gotta get on Kotor and look up the codex entry of these ships.

The way to do it is to build a big-assed fleet, and send it right into their capital. while doing this you build another, even larger one, to send around another way to conquer planets and eventually end up at their capital. rinse and repeat until you win. worked for me as the empire, was a struggle but still wound up crushing those rebel scum

Use cheat engine to disable the maximum amount of ships allowed, if you do this you will be able to build an infinite amount of ships.

you have to edit the EnabledMods.txt.

1. go to .../Users/Username/My Documents/My Games/Ironclad Games/SOASE 1.82 mods.

2. Extract all your addons here.
3. Open your EnabledMods.txt
4. copy and paste your desired addons in the list. from the very obvious and very clear "HOW TO INSTALL".txt that comes with the addons.

Hi all. Longtime fan of the game, and huge fan of this mod!! I'm noticing an issue with Interdictors where they prevent the AI from jumping into hyperspace, but the AI does nothing about this and instead waits for their ships to jump (even though they never will). They don't even fire back. This kind of breaks the game when using these ships. Has this been improved in the AI fixes? Or is this what the Interdictor Hyperspace mod in this Addons pack was intended to fix?

This is what the Hyperspace Interdiction addon is meant to, and does, fix. Unfortunately the AI's behavior is unmoddable.

Just wanted to point out that "respectfully" isn't the word the author was looking for. "Respectfully" means "with deference", it doesn't indicate a relation between elements. The word the author was looking for is "respectively".

It might just be me but is anyone else noticing that as the new republic that the textures are not loading for hits on ships? I just keep seeing ships covered in tons of white texture boxes when they are hit.

I love this mod but to be able to build 999 Capitalships is abit to much.Is there anyway one can reduce it to maybe max 32.

its makes the game balanced because not every faction has 6 or 7 cruisers to support it, and then cap ships make up for that because not everyone of them is op or anything, but if you really want that get the interregnum mod it essentially is the base game with star wars and a more limited number of cap ships and ships overall

it allows large battles and i have won against 400+ with a small fleet it doesnt have to be a spam fest its only how you play, like i said its balanced fairly. The new republic only has 3 cruiser classes and having a large amount of capital ships makes up for that as you can purchase more of those compared to cruisers and have a fleet thats just as if not more effective than another factions fleet of balanced ship classes
