This Mod needs A more powerful machine to run smoothly! The new LOD distance and AI require a more powerful machine to operate with smother frame rate.

Its been a while since an update but Im going to get straight to it. So far Ive finished about half the maps and have done some new animations for the weapons. My progress is going very slow due to the fact I have almost no free time on my hands to work on my mod. I will try to put more effort into completing version 1 by the end of October but I do not have a real say in how long it will actually take. Thanks for any support and hope you enjoy :)

This is the final beta version for Single Player Evolved and has many new features be sure to download :)
I strongly think HollowHue and MrRious should join forces for the ultimate Evolved Hardcore SP/MP mod experience! Share the work loadout and make things go faster ;)
maybe not, because we have very different setting of gameplay. This mod is realistic mod, that more serious on realistic gameplay and AI smartness. By that, to play this mod need good PC.
My mod maybe have AI improvement, but my mod more working on hardcore gameplay, and can be runned by low PC specs
Is there any way I could give all the players just one life and no re-spawn for vehicles for an ultra realistic scenario. When all are dead the round is over... That, combined with the long view distances would make this mod feel like Arma 2.
Yeah just lower the tickets to the amount of bots and make the spawn time like an hour
Yeap, that will probably do it... what about disabling re-spawn of vehicles? Like you have to really take care of your armored force or you loose the round!
"This Mod needs ALOT more powerful machine to run smoothly!"
Could you give us the new min. req. specs? I want to find out if my friends will be able to play this mod.
Also, if this mod is Ai heavy, you could make a tutorial on how to run a dedicated server on another core (if multicore) and will greatly improve performance of the client. Cheers
Well Since I cant actually test this mod on multiple systems, I do know it pretty much cuts the performance in half, and having 64 bots running around will probably crash your game, if you need to you cant just lower the amount of bots and it should run just fine.
Yeah, thanks, by multicore I mean you can run a dedicated server in one core (Running the bots) and the Client (Running the graphics) on another core by using special shortcuts. Otherwise BF2 does not use more than 1 core at all. By using the shortcut method to force multicore on BF2 I was able to reduce crashes by 90% on Alpha Project.
I wouldn't know how to do that but what did you do for Alpha Project?
And for the multicore, Im not sure if you can do that because its the game engine itself that decides on how many cores the game uses. You can goggle it but I do not think that this is possible
