SilentHeroes: Viking Assault mod for Battlefield 2

I just read the official news about the engine switch issue and i must admit i'm also not a fan of BF2 and i will tell you why. I had been constantly playing the Battlefield games since the start of the awesome multiplayer demo of wake island for Battlefield 1942 and it's expansion packs once the full game was released, then Battlefield Vietnam was released and it all went downhill from there :( See, there was a FREE mod out for bf1942 called Desert Combat that was being played online by MORE people (including me) than the original game and all it's expansion packs put together! People were drawn to the new release of Battlefield Vietnam for awhile, but soon went back to bf1942 and Desert Combat. Then Battlefield 2 came out (Which is a sad excuse for a next level Desert Combat IMO) and most of the Desert Combat players started playing that game instead. I will tell you why i'm not a fan and i stopped playing BF2, because i'm pretty sure that EA/Dice are still using the same engine that was used for Battlefield Vietnam, i can tell by the way that each new Mod/Game they released seamed to always have the same flaws when i played it, even though it was supposed to be a "new engine built from the ground up". if i had to name just one to save me time typing and you reading ;) it would have to be the ability to swim diagonally, in battlefield 1942, you could be swimming forward and press the left or right key to swim diagonally forward, but when Vietnam came out, you no longer could go diagonally forward but only strafe left or right while stopped in the water, and that has been the main flaw that i have seen in every release from them since, including the new Battlefield 2142 which STILL has that and a few other flaws that go back to the Vietnam Engine so they ain't fooling me any. Funny thing is that i have and will still continue to buy anything that comes out with the Battlefield name in it just because Dice, not EA created the best multiplayer experience ever to this day when they made bf-1942!!! (i don't even want to hear a word from you cs fans since you don't have ANY vehicles! lol, i love css though)

Silent Heroes has the best looking gun models made for Battlefield 1942, never mind the awesome vehicle models too! Will watch this to see what you guys produce for BF2 :)
