Silent HL design document released! news

Silent HL is a Half-Life 2 modification based on the feel of the Silent Hill series. If you love SH you'll surely love our mod. However, even if you don't know anything about SH, you'll still love it as long as you're a horror fan. Our mod will not use any of the story, characters, etc. from Silent Hill; it will be an original creation. We just want to recreate the feel of terror and suspense that SH had, but in a first-person environment. You'll rely on your flashlight as most locations will be pitch black or have very little lighting. You'll walk down a corridor hearing monsters moaning and scratching, never knowing when you're going to be attacked. The game will focus on puzzles and exploration, while combat will mainly be melee-focused with little ammo for guns. You won't fight a ton of monsters, but when you do we want them to terrify you.
