One month after the events of Silent Escape, the rebellion remains at war with the ruthless Combine. We join Shawn's brother, Chris, who is determined to learn the truth about his missing brother and to bring an end to the Combine rule. As the sequel to the well-received 2012 mod, Silent Escape 2 will take fans to a selection of new environments and locations including Half-Life 2: Lost Coast's famous "St. Olga" aswell as allowing players to experience a selection of exciting new experiences including APC driving in open locations.
Silent Escape recieved significant praise after it's launch in mid-2012, including positive reviews from highly respected community websites such as ValveTime and Mods-Inside. Silent Escape 2 is currently scheduled for an early 2013 launch.

Highest Rated (8 agree) 9/10
Been playing so many other games over the last year+ that I haven't played any Source mods except " Grey " ( +7 ) and " Cry of Fear " ( which I was sorely disappointed with ). I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this mod ! Played it x2. No mod is perfect by any definition, but this one painlessly popped me right back into the HL2 'verse again and it was good to be back. I'm not going into pro's and cons, 'cause I'm not that friggin' fussy. Over all, a wonderfully planned and executed…

So the first chapter is "finished" or it needs some patches/updates?
Voted for this!
I enjoyed every bit of this mod. Excellent mapping skills here, the dark forest chapter really scared the heck out of me :)
I would have liked the final chapter to be more challenging though.
All in all it's a great mod and a must play 9/10.
Pro-Bones, you certainly have talent as a mapper/modder, keep up!
(this is the ultra-short, in a nutshell review)
I thought it was okay but not anything special.
The action was fun, though a bit short and the story was nearly non-existing. The maps, while extremely linear, look great and their design is very good, but the use of invisible walls bothered me a lot and the game was sometimes too linear for my liking.
I rated it a 5/10 (meaning average), it was fun but sadly forgettable.
I am however looking forward to a next mod of you guys since the maps do look great!
Is anyone aware of the name (if it has one) for the orchestral piece that plays as the credits roll?
I really like it so I was wondering if I could get it in some capacity.
Dirge from the Death Note OST. The file is located in the mod's sound/music folder.

Hi All,
I can load the mod, but I can't start the game. When I go to "New Game," I see this screen I.imgur.com - as you can see there are no maps available.
The installation went fine. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry, to clarify: I am having to load the maps manually, which is fine. This is just feedback to the developers.
I'm loving this mod. Very, very good indeed! 9/10
Could you help me please? After I install a game I don't know how to open so I can play it. The Find Games Installed Wizard is no good.
