4 months now that the development of this map has been started, and where are we?
Answer
the main concerns were:
-A constant glare of the map with offset and repetition of the screen
-A significant loss Framerate
The setting-time imprecise
All these problems have been solved by reducing the distance display and placing a trigger for Time of day.
The progress of the map is currently 50%. This percentage represents only the artistic side of the map without Flowgraph, mission objectives, scenes and advanced AI.
Several assets and equipment or skins will be used, so I used some of them:
- The jungle Nanosuit U.S. of Nukem (aka Reoisasa) and Chrome235
- The P226 Sip of Ror-Shak
- The KPA Commando Fixers0
- The Africans Characters pack of Dxslayer
The new gameplay will be present as "Hiding in the trees" and many other ...

any good pc user will know to not use anti aliasing so much and keep shaders to a good quality/performance ratio, so set that setting to medium and 2x or even no anti aliasing :P
on topic, very impressive mapping, models, and textures.
AA is necessary, without, the game flickers too.
I'd never see AA as a necessity, not on Crysis. I'd rather have a few, even if it's just a mere 1 fps more. Specially on the CE2. ;o
