The mod is currently in production and progress is going well, importing all maps from career mode into random missiom mode and changing some minor things in them, like the draw distance, shouldn't take too much time. Sharkopedia can take more time, as there will be 20+ animals to be imported (some like the Orca need to be altered first), described and properly sized.
The main goal is to enchance the random mission mode and fill the game with new animals.
I'll try to make as many new animals as possible and rational given the amount of models the game has (its quite a few), still I'm not good with creating new and editing 3D models.
If there is anything I would like help with, it would be making new 3D models for marine animals and maybe a good artist to produce higher resolution versions of the textures used in the game, aside from that I can handle everything else myself.
LATEST NEWS:
Good news, my new graphics card (now Geoforce 9500) has actually helped me get rid of a certain bug I had with the Geoforce 8500 (I was unable to run Shark! in full window mode for some reason)
So... Shark! Wildlife is back in business!
I cautiously set the 1.0 version release date to be August 14th. This mod is not dead! :D
