Shark! was one of the few old FPP hunting games I really enjoyed playing, it had the challenge, the atmosphere and at times was really scary. Still... I always had the feeling that the game doesn’t make full use of its potential. Why are there only a few maps available in random mission mode? Why does the Megalodon appear only in one career mission? Why doesn’t the game make better use of some great models it has like the Orca or Humpback Whale? Why are some sharks used only as decorative objects and not possible to hunt? Why does the game have so few species to hunt? The aim of the Shark! Wildlife mod is to change all of that. The main feature of the mod will be new shark species to hunt, all maps available in random mission mode, new and edited maps, new ambient animals, more realistic animal statistics and sizes, greater draw distance on all maps, all animals included in the sharkopedia and much, much more...

I uploaded the images of the 5 new sharks that will be available in version 1.0 of the Shark! Wildlife mod. The new sharks are:- the Bronze Whaler Shark
- the Sand Tiger Shark
- the Dusky Shark
- the Grey Reef Shark
- the Blacktip Shark
All these sharks will be available in the random mission mode of the game. These sharks are mostly smaller and less agressive species, similar to the Lemon Shark in terms of danger presented for the player.
However, given the right circumstances these sharks can easily keep you on your toes!

this mod is dead, in other words the creator gave up on it, and never released it.
I have the game. But let me tell ya, Florida platforms is HARD!!
question is. how do you get to the files to mod the sharks and what not? cant seem to find it.
You are very welcome on here dude!!!! Sounds awesome that you've decided to mod this thing. Please don't disappear like the other two guys who were modding it. Take all yer vitamins AND STAY OUTTA THE DEEP WATER.
May I make a few suggestions for the mod??? These are just a few things I think would be cool...if they're possible I mean.
1. Make the Megalodon, great white & tiger sharks available in any of the random maps.
2. Make the career maps available for random missions.
I think those were some of the things the others were working on. Be great if u could do that. Thanks and good luck!!!! I know I'll keep watching for your work.

I have done it. I've started a new mod so we can actually have some new content! I call it Shark! Revival. Since I am a new member, I cannot post links. Just search Shark Revival
So I've decided that I'm making my own mod to freshen the game up. I'm making a page for it as soon as I can.
Hmmmmm...still no moddy goodness up on 'ere??? No updates???? Perhaps the death of Gary Coleman hit him too hard??? Sorry...kinda off topic. Wow...like everybody from Different Strokes is, like, dead now, and it wasn't from shark attacks either. See...I brought it back to sharks again. So everything is ok.
Dude this is one of fav games of all time. I'd paya lot of money to have this mod finished.
